A great set of bulbs, as you would expect with Philips there is little to no variance in the colour between bulbs as you get with some other brands. Installing one of these next to a bulb from a few years ago and there is no perceptible difference in brightness or warmth. The 4000k warmth is a cool-ish white without being blue, ideal for kitchens or bathrooms but would be too cool for a lounge or bedroom in my opinion.

An overall great product well packaged with clear information regarding the voltage, wattage and lupins. And af 4000K puts the light towards the yellow side of the spectrum.

**update 1 bulb has failed after only 4 days. Hopefully a one off issue. Replacement sent. Perfect 4000k white light. Not blue not yellow. Very bright and fills the room. Good quality and build. 100% recommended.

I like the brighter "cold" light of these bulbs. I had been using cheap anonymous LEDs, but was disappointed by their short life. The Phillips bulbs last much longer and ultimately offer better value for money.

Perfect spot light bulbs for inside and outside use.

These lights give a nice clean bright light, used them to replace some older 250lm bulbs in the kitchen and it's really transformed the room for us. The new Philips bulbs (replacing Energiser branded) are as you'd expect for Philips feel higher quality, they're noticeably heavier, not covered in cheap plastic. The use of metal helps the bulbs cooling capabilities as heat is conducted more easily, this should, in theory, help the bulbs last longer but time will tell. Obviously something like lighting is subjective but I'd encourage people to try these and see what they think, they manage to be bright without being overpowering.
