I'm kind of a caraway seed fanatic. I put them in everything...soft goat-cheese scrambled eggs, all kinds of salads and hotdishes, Rye bread, Soda bread, savory scones, homemade sauerkraut, puddings, cakes, as a flavoring in homemade aquavit...they're simply wonderful in everything! I even put caraway seeds in small bottles of Clove and Tea Tree Oil to use on wounds, or for a base when I make natural face spa masks. This LARGE container*(HUGE VALUE FOR THE MONEY!) arrived perfectly packaged, on time, and the contents are SO FRESH! My only complaint would be that they're erroneously listed under caraway seeds>>>which they're not*(ask any botanist, lol)....They're actually/technically caraway 'fruits', scientifically known as crescent-shaped 'achenes'. These R so good I find myself snacking on them plain...right out of the container! They're naturally packed with 3 of their own essential oils, & nursing mothers have used them for centuries in many cultures/countries to increase milk production. If paired with cinnamon in foods*(like rice pudding), the nursing mother's milk is notably sweeter & more plentiful 4 baby, thus encouraging trouble-free nursing and baby growth. If I sold Caraway seeds, I would list them under Baby/Nursing adjuvants, and under caraway fruits. Caraway is one of the 5 things in MY suitcase if I'm ever on the show Survivor, & this brand is my new go-to!
