I have been studying Russian for three years. I sometimes wonder why - it is certainly not the easiest language to learn. I have found this book useful because it explains points of grammar very clearly. Perhaps the most important thing though is the exercises and the answers to the exercises!

Very good book but not for beginners

Most language apps are great for learning vocabulary but are poor at explaining the grammar. This book is a great help in explaining basic Russian grammar and should should speed up your progress if using an app.

Another great companion book to help guide you

I really like the approach this book makes. Everything is explained clearly and systematically, but not in your face, with plenty of helpful examples. The exercises follow on nicely and naturally from the grammatical explanations and clearly and helpfully laid out tables, and are by and large more fun to tackle than most workbook-type exercises. Useful, comprehensive and clear - more than just a workbook.

As with all Lingo Mastery publications, the book is easy to follow explaining the difficulties faced with Russian Grammar in an easily digestible form. I have a number of books related to the the grammar of this language, but the Lingo Mastery series of books, goes a step further in explaining the aspects of grammar in a much easier way. The books are also reasonable priced, and a re good value for money.
