Terrible stomach aches. Dosage is optimal. If you've bought multiple different supplements and are experiencing stomach aches, this may be the cause. You may want to take half of the recommended dose.

I have taken potassium citrate supplements for years. I decided to replace part of that with this potassium bicarbonate. I have been happy with the results, although I would feel better about taking it (and recommending it) if I could find some proper reviews of Saikou Herbs in general, and this supplement in particular.

If you find that you have to take potassium bicarbonate, this is a good option for the price. You get a 2 month supply, and the pills are small enough that they go down easy. But the label adviises to take with food and I've learned to heed this warning. If I don't take it with food then I have an irritated stomach for 5-10 minutes. It passes quickly, but I'd rather not feel that at all. I'll be taking it with food from now on, especially since I really need to keep my potassium levels up.
