Bill Maher's book is excellent at it's interpretation of the left and right in American politics and honestly it resembles most countries politics these days. It is both informative and funny and once I started reading I could not stop, I did not want to put it down.

I'm a big fan of Bill's show and am really enjoying the book so far. Great to dip into as it provides welcome background info for some pretty lively debates over coffee with friends.

Bill Maher at his usual best. Loved it. That some of what is said in this book would be considered controversial by some people is incredible. A common sense that society needs to get back to.

No one - especially a Bill Maher fan - will be disappointed with this book.

Brilliant, sharper than obsidian-witted Bill Maher. I don’t agree with everything he says but I couldn’t stop laughing every other page, and believe me, on several occasions, took some time to stop laughing, like a train that needs distance to come to a stop!

The title is completely stupid. This book is brilliantly aserbic and presents considered common sense a highly entertaining way. Bill Maher is the most intelligent "comedian" I have ever heard or read who unerringly hits worthy nails on the head. This book or audio will not shock honest, open, objective people.

My husband wanted this so I bought it for Christmas. He read bits and pieces but he didn’t enjoy it as much as he thought he would. He loves watching his shows but the book not as much.

Mic drop of a Book! Bill nailed EVERY topic he explored with LOL humor and wait for it....Facts, Common Sense & Decency. Great Read...if only it was REQUIRED reading so folks could have discussions vs opting for damning "posts".

Bill Maher, as he lives and breathes

I don’t agree with militant political ideology, I identify as open minded conservative, however I loved this book. He made me laugh as he presented his humorous and insightful perspective to each current hot-button topic. The audible is read by him and his voice is very pleasant to listen to. If you are wondering if you should support him by purchasing his book, I say yes you should! You will not be disappointed and may I recommend the audible.

A great poignant funny head scratching read! Regardless of your orientation, it will inspire thought and hopefully dialogue! Maher’s conclusion resonates; we must embrace the “united” in the United States despite differing views, patriotism supports the country’s notion of democracy for all. It’s not the divided states of America.
