This balaclava is excellent quality and extremely comfortable to wear. The material is soft, breathable, and stretches well without feeling tight. Purchased after some laser work at the derm, I wore this at first to hide the bruising at work, and now I use it to walk outside, or when I have to pop out but haven’t applied SPF. It’s been a HUGE help to have handy, to keep my skin healthy and unburnt. I was worried about how it would look at work, but it really looked kind of cool, I actually got many compliments! It’s easy to wash, the ear loops of the inner mask fit great and are comfortable. the hoodie portion also works well, and the length is long enough to leave out, or tuck into a neckline.

If you don't have much hair and want protection from the sun while riding, this is great. Soft and light, feels silky, and great sun protection. I don't like the ear loops, they pull on my ears too much, so I don't use them. but otherwise it's great and I'll be buying another.

I bought this item as a head-face protector when I go out kayaking and rowing on the water in the heat. Not that comfortable. Tight on my face and neck, keeps me warm, yet it doesn't stay on my face. There are ear-hooks on it under the hoodie, but they keep rolling off my ears so the face piece keeps slipping off. My biggest problem is that it's hard to breathe in it and the hoodie blocks my view. I have to adjust it when I have to turn around and look. As it covers my nose, it fogs my glasses, which to me suggest that it doesn't breathe well when I am breathing out. I suspect it's fashionable when you want to look sexy on a boat but it's not practical if you actually trying to row. I will keep trying, I've only tried it twice, for an hour or so each time. There may be a trick to it.

My husband uses these every day for work very durable and does its purpose. Keeps the dirt and sun out of his face he loves these things. Good material very breathable

I bought these to keep the sun off my neck and they work great. They fit comfortably and not too tight. They are very breathable and thus keep my neck from getting too hot. If I needed to I could wet them with water and it would hold water long enough. Funny enough if you put them on all the way over your head and face, you look like a ninja.

Perfect for fishing. Sometimes during the earlier art of the season we get bothered by little, flying insects that sometimes bite. This is great to keep them away from our faces. The cowl fits nicely inside the collar of our fishing shirts so no bugs go crawling around there. Love this product!
