Justin Boots stamps their Stampede Western boot with embroidery and well-worn leather. The Standard of the West Since 1879 The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their father´s death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today. Every pair of Justin Boots is a salute to the spirit of independence, hard work and authenticity of the cowboys who have worn them since 1879. After more than 130 years of Western boot making, Justin Boots is still true to its roots. When you purchase a pair of Justin Boots you will own the most authentic and stylish Western footwear available. And with Justin´s patented J-Flex® Comfort System you will be wearing the most comfortable boots ever made. This is why Justin Boots has been crowned the ¨Standard Of The West Since 1879¨.

These Western Cowgirl Boots Put the "Fun" in Function!
These boots are much better-looking than advertised. They are very comfortable to ride in, and clean up nicely with a quick brush off and light leather conditioning. The rubber soles give a secure feeling in the stirrups, and the 1 1/2" angled heels make these boots stylish enough to sport post-ride (pair with a billowy skirt and sangria, and watch what happens!) The fit is excellent, too. Pick a half-size down for this square-toed boot and your feet (and heels) will thank you. If the boots pull on and make a "whoosh" sound when your foot is fully seated, you know you picked the right size. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Could have been great
I am super bummed!!! I am normally a 9.5 and I tried ordering a half size down due to reviews but the 9.5 fits my foot as it should. UNFORTUNATELY this boot just seems to be made poor (both the 9 and 9.5 had the same issue). The stiching by the ankle bows in and I thought (as per the reviews) this was just an issue that would resolve once I broke the boot in.... NOPE.I have worn this boot 3 times in an attempt to break this in but they have become so bothersome and painful that I just can't wear these anymore and now I fear that I am out $109 for a boot I can't wear. The look- dead on the pictures, its a very nice look. They are made in China and close up it makes sense, but this is a very attractive boot. This was my first time buying boots online so I guess its a learning experience... really disappointed!

Wide enough to fit!
When these boots arrived I ignored them for a couple of hours while I did other things because when I looked at them I thought though beautiful they would be too narrow to fit and I'd have to send them back. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they fit me with room to spare in the heel area. I can wear thicker socks with them when it gets cold. They really are good looking boots and I'm satisfied. Buying boots online is a crapshoot when you have a wide foot as there often isn't a wide size selection. I think you'll be satisfied with these. I ear a 7.5 W but often have to get an 8 to get the width. I did order the boot with the design with black thread but got the orange colored thread, but t's hardly noticeable though the black would have shown up better if you wear your legs pants in the boots.

Super cute and comfortable for plantar fasciitis sufferer
I just got my 8.5 c/d sized boots today (after visiting a professional boot sale who gave me tips on sizing when looking for boots). I usually wear size 9 shoe; with my bigger calves, the professional said to stay away from 12 and up height shafts due to my bigger calf size. She also stated justins are super comfortable for those that have plantar fascitis issues. But seeing these were super cute, i thought id still give these a try. AND yes, she's correct on shoe size for pointier toed boots, go with half size down and in a C for slightly wider feet. The shaft is a wee bit snug, but not too much that couldn't stretch out quickly with regular wearing them. The foot bed is awesomely comfort as well as great arch support, and the heel is perfect heighth for someone that can't wear totally flat-based shoes. I'd highly recommend this boot.

Great first pair of boots
I read the reviews that said that the boots ran a little big and many people ordered a size down, but I still ordered my size since I thought with a pair of socks it may be a perfect fit. The reviews were correct, they did run a little big, even with socks. I re-ordered these in a size smaller and they fit perfectly and did not pinch or feel tight.I am still wearing them in the house and breaking them in and super excited to wear them this summer!! I will re post after wearing them for a couple months. The boots are a deep warm brown as pictured, I love the hint of color in the stitching, just enough to add a little color. This is my first pair of cowboy boots, I ordered a few other brands before choosing these, but I found that the leather on these were pretty soft compared to some others that were super stiff. These are worth checking out!! :)

Absolutely beautiful boots and they fit
Absolutely beautiful boots and they fit! Follow the advice posted by others as far as ordering the size and you can' t miss. I normally wear an 11wide but I ordered 10 1/2B and they fit perfectly. I expected a bit of discomfort with new boots at first but these were comfortable right out of the box! I know I'm going to get years of wear out of these. I am very pleased.

Great boots & great return service.
Look great well made I ordered the chocolate puma cow color, look just like picture both pairs I order did. I read through the reviews and saw they did run large so order a size smaller. I wear a 7.5 so ordered a 7 and were still too big in the heal and ankle. I order another in 6.5 fit great just like western boots should. I did get some mole skin to put on inside of tabs where they are attached to boot at top so would not run a raw spot on my calves worked great was able to wear with no break in period. When I returned the 1st pair I got a message same day i dropped off at post office that a refund was in the works. This was great when ever you have to return something you never know how long before your refund gets started.

Lovely boots...an essential for the wardrobe!
These Justin boots are very comfortable and classy looking. The only comment I have that isn't a glowing review is it feels as though the ankle on my right boot is significantly tighter (smaller in circumference) than the left. While it is not pinching or uncomfortable (and certainly tolerable) I find it to feel strange or a little constricting at times...

Good Boot
Needed some boots like these and and I made the jump to Amazon as opposed to more traditional sources. They seem well made and the size was accurate. When I ordered I was a bit concerned that they might be large but they're fine. They were stiff and I loosened them up by wearing them around the house for a bit and now I wear them all over. They're a down to earth style with no frills and they fit right in out here with all the good prairie folks...

Nice Boot BUT HUGE
Great Boot, but if you're going to order, make sure you order 1.5 - 2 sizes smaller than you would normally wear. They are HUGE!!!I loved the boot itself, however it was by far the largest size 7.5 I have ever seen.Normally i wear a size 8, sometimes a 7.5 depending on the shoe, so i ordered a size 7.5 because reviews said it was a little big.Well even with THICK socks I couldn't walk properly in these as they were waay too big.I just sent them back, so i can order a smaller size, sucks that they won't exchange them cuz now the price is like $40 more.

Beautiful boots but I recommend getting 1/2 size up
Beautiful boots but I recommend getting 1/2 size up. I am a 8.5 but these were too tight in the toes and dug in to the ankles. Otherwise they are very, very nice.
