Excellent for targeted cooling, great options for customisabilty. Best fan for fusspots like me!
I have had various fans over the years, but this is the one to beat for me. Being a menopausal woman with the added bonus of sensory issues, I hate feeling hot but also really dislike being blasted with a narrow stream of cold air. This has options to adjust both the vertical and horizontal oscillation so that I can get the cooling just right. On really hot nights having it set at a narrower angle is great, as once I am lying in bed I'm not bothered about cooling the room, just keeping my body cool enough to sleep under a sheet, but without a constant blast of air in the same spot driving me crazy. Equally having the oscillation too wide would mean that I would be sweating waiting for the fan to come round again, I could never win haha! . The Alexa integration also works well, enabling me to control the speed and power options via voice activation, which is great if you want to do it at 3am without fumbling for a phone or the remote. Nice wide arc of air too, don't buy the smaller 7inch version it's not worth it, spend a little extra for this in my opinion if you can afford it. It's also a good height, we have it placed at the foot of our bed which sits quite high, and used at the max adjustable height it's able to reach over perfectly. Lovely and quiet at lowest levels, with no noticable humming or motor noise either, just the sounds of the blades whirring quietly, a nice gentle white noise. This might all sound pernickety but if you have any type of sensory issues regarding sounds and temperature, this really is a great fan to help overcome this.

Excellent smart fan
This air circulator is a superb upgrade from a standard fan. Its sleek design features easy-to-reach touch controls on top and a large, bright LCD display that can dim after a minute. It operates quietly on lower settings, though the sound increases with speed, which is typical. The accompanying app is a standout, allowing precise customization of oscillation angles to perfectly suit your room. The remote adds a nice touch with its satisfyingly 'clicky' buttons. Where this unit truly shines is its ability to create a natural breeze effect by rotating randomly across multiple planes – a significant improvement over traditional fans. Of course, it also functions as a regular fan, with options for direct airflow or side-to-side oscillation. While an excellent product, particularly at the £127 offer price, those in consistently very hot environments might consider an air conditioner, as some AC units are available for a comparable price to this fan at its full retail cost.

Love it
Excellent fan. Very quiet even on higher settings, strong airflow, and the smart controls are genuinely useful. Remote and app both work well, and the design looks modern rather than bulky. Ideal for bedrooms or living spaces. Easily one of the best fans I’ve owned.

Great product, powerful, simple to use and Alexa ready
We bought this fan as things started to warm up, we looked at the shark alternative which is more expensive, which a friend recently showed us when we visited. The shark device was great however the rotation was limited. This device has 120c and 90c movement, and can do both at the same time which is great. It can start on setting 1 and go up to speed 8, which a turbo setting as well. The 1/2 compares to a normal house fan, the plastic ones you get. The 8/Turbo is very powerful. Great to get some air circulation in the house. It has a very simple app that lets you control everything. It comes with a remote that clips on and again quite simple to use. I connected this to my Alexa, and simply say turn on the air ciruclalitor and it runs straight away. It also allows me to change the speed, i.e if I say change the speed to 8 it changes the speed. The product has good weight, which means it's sturdy but can be moved, it means a child or animal is unlikely to knock it over due to the weight base plate(made of metal). Overall happy with my purchas and the product

Would get 5* but for the app
Air conditioners can be noisy, esp with the fans turned up high. I brought a 'Bosch Cool 5000' and its not too noisy with the fan on low, but on medium or high its very loud. This is because of the small sideways fan they use, kind of like the brush on your vacuum. That is where this fan comes in, it sits in front of the air-con and blows that nice cool air around the room. Performance: At power level 1 this fan is a gentle breeze, anything above power level 4 and its blowing hard and pushing stuff around. It's not at an insane cyclone level at max, but I don't enjoy having hit me in the face. Also I personally find the drop-off range to be better than other fans I have tried. Noise: This is without a doubt the quietest fan I have ever used, I have it timed to come on in the morning and not only does it not wake me, I only know its on because I can feel it. This is at level 1 with no rotation (the rotation motor is actually louder then the fan at this level). At level 2 you hear it a little and when you hit level 5 it is noticeable, at max level it sounds like any other noisy fan. Functions: With the remote alone, you have 3 modes normal, auto & turbo. The app extends these to include the sleep & natural modes. I like to use the natural mode when I'm using the fan alone and its not too hot, unlike some fans it does not have jarring transitions between high and low power in this mode and does a fair job of simulating a natural breeze. Auto mode adjusts the power according to temperature, I find the temps to be accurate & this is mode is further extended in the app where you can create a custom profile of how much power you want at various temps. Turbo mode is just full wack, you might want to invest in a better cooling solution if you are running it at this level for extended periods. Sleep mode reduces the fan power over time as you sleep. App & Smart functions: I found setting up the app & connecting it to Alexa was easy. The app was simple and easy to use, and Alexa has many commands you can use to control it. In addition to having the extra modes mentioned above, the app also lets you set multiple timers to have the fan come on or off or on for a set time range. You can also use the app to set and save custom asymmetrical rotation angles for both axis. Sadly I have encountered problems using the app, I have a had some disconnection problems with my internet lately and each time the app has "lost" the fan (none of my other "smart" devices were affected). Each time it has done this, it has had an error where it stops the connection process at 60% and throws an error. I tried resetting the fan, force stopping the app and clearing the data, restarting my phone, unplugging the fan for 5 mins, but none of these worked. I just kept trying (for almost an hour one time) and eventually it connected again, I could not tell you why or how or what is going on. The app seems to "need" a constant connection to the internet to work, or it starts throwing errors. Looks & build: The fan is black shiny plastic & will pick up your fingerprints, it feels solid and well-made, it was easy to put together and set up, I like that it has a holder for the remote. It is heavy enough, but not so heavy that you can't pick it up with one hand. Summary: As a fan on its own it works well & pushes a good amount of air, as a circulator for an air-con or similar it is almost overkill. Using it with the Bosch Cool 5000 reduces the temps in my mid-sized attic room with sky facing windows from over 28c to 25c after a few hours, and that is no easy feat, its like a greenhouse during the summer. It also does it at a very low noise level & that is nothing short of amazing. I would give it five starts, but for the app issues & my concern about it needing an internet connection to work.

I can’t say enough good things about this DREO fan! From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed. The setup was incredibly easy – just a few simple steps and it was ready to go. What truly stands out is how powerful yet whisper-quiet this fan is. Even on the higher settings, it doesn't disrupt conversations or sleep, making it perfect for both daytime and nighttime use. The oscillation is smooth and wide, covering a large area of the room evenly. I’ve used it in both my bedroom and living room, and it does a fantastic job of circulating air. I love that it has multiple speed settings and modes (including sleep mode and natural breeze), so you can customize it to exactly what you need. The remote control is super convenient and responsive – I use it all the time from across the room. Another bonus is the sleek, modern design. It doesn’t look bulky or out of place like some older tower fans. It’s compact enough to tuck into a corner, but still tall enough to distribute air at the right height. The digital display is clear and easy to read, and I appreciate the auto shut-off timer feature as well. Overall, the DREO fan has far exceeded my expectations. It’s efficient, stylish, and well worth the price. I’ve noticed a real difference in comfort during warmer days, and I genuinely look forward to using it every day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality fan!

I bought one of these to replace the standard pedestal fan we had in our bedroom for years, after the old one started to get too weak to do it's job anymore. I can tell you, this thing MOVES some air compared to even a brand new fan. It's so strong that we typically don't even have it pointed directly at us at night. I have it setup to point at a certain spot on the ceiling so it bounces back down and is a little gentler, but still helps keep us cool at night. During the daytime, I typically set it to oscillate horizontally and vertically, so it moves the air around the room, and it really helps to keep the room nice and cool. There's not a single spot in the whole room where the air stays still all day. The fact that this fan is wifi connected and has an app was a big factor in my decision to buy it, since I already have a pretty large collection of smart devices and was able to integrate this pretty easily. The app is one of the better thought-out smart home device apps I've seen, but not without its flaws. It's very easy to get the fan setup and connected to your wifi, and there are lots of options waiting for you once you do, including the ability to point the fan wherever you need, remotely. The included physical remote does not have this functionality. It's a very simple, "power, fan-speed, oscillation on/off" remote, so the app is your friend if you want to control exactly where this fan points without physically moving it. The fan is so good, I actually bought a second one for my office, to replace a "dumb" Dreo tower fan. It's working great, and keeps the air in my office moving 10x better than the tower fan ever could, however, upon setting it up in the app I noticed a strange inconsistency it and the original fan in the bedroom. The firmware on this new one is significantly newer, and offers features that the original one does not, however I can't update the firmware of the original one to match it. The newer fan allows you to manipulate the horizontal and vertical positioning in a sort of 3D way, whereas the original one does not. Additionally, when connected to Home Assistant, the new fan exposes a horizontal and vertical rotation entity that allows you to not only change them in realtime, but use them in scripts, automations, and scenes, which is fantastic. Unfortunately, this only works with the more recently purchased one, and not the slightly older one, despite them being the exact same model. Pros: - Moves a TON of air when it's on the Turbo setting - Nearly silent on lower settings ( fan speed <6 ) - Smart home integrations with Alexa, Google, Home Assistant, and probably more - Easy to use, and well thought out app for remote control Cons: - Physical remote is basically useless except for turning it on, and changing the fan speed - Firmware version between 2 separate units of the same model is vastly different (V1.2.23_0.1.1 vs V3.2.4_1.0.0), meaning features will vary depending which one you get. I'd really like some feedback from the manufacturer on this one, since it should be an easy fix. Overall, this is a great fan, and it's well worth the price, especially if you can get it on a sale.

Very good - I am impressed with the low noise this fan makes. The app is well designed, easy to setup and use. The fact that the fan has 8 different speeds means you find one speed that suits you best... its very easy to find your sweet spot fan speed vs distance to the fan vs noise of the airflow. Noise is very very very low until the 2nd speed and very very low until the 4th speed... 5th speed very low. The horizontal oscilation is incredibly usefull specially the 30 degrees angle. The vertical oscillation is not as usefull for my use but still good to have it. Improvement: a longer electric cable could be necessary to some users and slighly more steady horizontal oscillation motor articulation. Great product definitely the best fan I have ever owned.

I’m really impressed with this Dreo Smart Floor Fan. It’s incredibly quiet — even at higher speeds, the 25 dB noise level is barely noticeable, perfect for sleeping or working. The omni-directional oscillation covers the whole room evenly, and it moves air much better than a standard fan. What I love most is the app control — I can adjust speed, oscillation, and timers right from my phone without getting up. It connects easily and works flawlessly. The remote is a nice bonus too. Sleek design, excellent performance, and very practical for everyday use!
