So I'm giving it a 4 star because when I tell you these little guys are CRUNCHY. At first I didn't think I was going to like them because of how hard they are. But man. I find myself reopening one of the bags in under 10 minutes and crunching away at a few more. I also wouldn't say the "sour" ones are necessarily sour... but some of them have a tartness to them.

I have had a lot of different types of freeze dried candies and this would have to be my least favorite type. I don't think it's anything wrong with the candy, it's just that this is not a good candy to freeze dry. It's still hard and crunchy. It doesn't have that light freeze dried texture that I like. The flavor is fine but also not great. The pros: The bags are resealable to help keep it fresh. The value seems good since you get 4 large bags. You get a variety of flavors.

The starburst minis are my favorite! I stick with this company when it comes to these and when I try new ones because I strayed away once and it was terrible, I will most definitely be back, they made a loyal customer out of me, the quality is amazing, the size and quality you get are amazing perfect crunchy texture not sticky or chewy at all!

Initially, I was excited to have more freeze dried candy. I’ve always found the process to yield interesting results. But this batch didn’t quite work. The starburst-like candies became very hard, to the point that I’m a little scared to eat them because it feels like they might crack a tooth! Once the candy has been bitten open, it dissolves more easily, but it still not an easy treat to enjoy. I would not recommend this for folks with recent dental work or weak tooth enamel.

These little freeze dried candies are fun and flavorful. You can either let it dissolve in your mouth, or crunch down for that unique freeze-dried texture. They melt almost at once if you chew on them, and don't turn gummy or sticky. The flavors are generally fruity and a bit tangy, with one package being labeled sour in particular that goes a little further into that lip-puckering territory. They're quite sweet, but with enough other flavors that the sweetness doesn't overpower them. Each bag is approximately five servings, so for 20 servings overall, I'll leave it up to you how that shakes out from a value perspective. All in all, I really like them, though!

We've tried several freeze-dried candies. It's neat how you can take a familiar flavor and completely change the texture through freeze-drying. These have a familiar flavor, and if you know candy, you'll be able to figure out what candy they originated from. The flavor is very strong and fruity. It tastes good. This candy is mostly crunchy, but as you chew, it turns slightly chewy. It's a fun transition! The downside is that this candy is not a particularly good value, but as a novelty, it's hard to compare it to other candy. The description says the candy does not stick to teeth, but I found that it does get sticky as it's chewed. I would not recommend it for those with braces or other dental appliances.

This mini squares are great. They are not as dry and airy as some other freeze dried items I've had. I auctually like them better. They have the crunch and taste to them but they just seem a little bit different. Not sure exactly what it is. This box comes with a good variety of flavors. All reds, and All pinks are my favorites. They come packaged in resealable bags to keep them fresh so you can have some, save some for later without them getting getting all sticky. They are shipped in a box as well to keep them from getting crushed to powder like freeze dried candy can.
