No. 9 Cleaning Kit with Aluminum Rod

Great gun cleaning kit. Bought this for my little Ruger 22, and it does the job well. It comes with everything you need to clean your 22 firearm: rod, brushes, pads, lube, and cleaning solvent. The cleaning solvent worked very well to remove the gunk from the barrel of my gun. Would recommend, especially for the price.

Great for a starter kit.

This is my first time ever using a cleaning kit for my first gun. I have a Ruger stainless steel .22 revolver that I bought used and figured it needed some cleaning. The bullets had to be forced into the cylinders and the cases had to be forcibly ejected. After using this kit, the bullets now tap into place with a fingertip and the eject rod easily pops them out. Based on that, I would say it works well and was easy to use since I was able to use it without any guidance, just the simple instructions. I have no doubt that I will purchase this kit again when the contents of this one are exhausted.

As usual, the folks from Hoppe's make a good, solid product. Nothing fancy, but it is just what you need to get the job done. I use the lubricant on some of my guns, but the bore cleaning solution I only use on my shotguns. I find it a bit too abrasive for some barrels. The rod is sturdy and the threading is exact and not lose where the rods connect. I would prefer brass jag and patch holder to the cheap plastic ones they give you in this kit, but I'm sure that's a cost issue. It keeps the price down and they work for now.

nice little cleaning kit. Has everything you need to clean your .22. The bore rod is kind of flimsy, but it should work for a hobbyist use. This makes a good starting kit to get you going, and then you will likely get a few additional items over the next months to suit your specific needs.

Use to clean guns.

A purchases cleaning kit for my wife who is recently taken up the sport with me. As with most product from this manufacture I found to be this product very well made and easy to use. It fit all of her needs, gave her a good strong product to work from, and helped her in understanding not only the parts of her different firearms but how important it is to clean each of those. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good cleaning kit.
