Bodycology Long-Lasting Fragrance Body Mist, Blue Denim, 8 fl oz

I purchased this because I wanted a light smell. My husband promptly co opted it and the matching body creme. Great value for the prices. The fragrance is a little like "cool water" a really nice one for anyone. The size is great as we took ours to a hotel. Really easy to spray and if layered over the cream it lasts all day. I love the orange top notes. The Blue Denim is a five star scent. Now since then I have purchased: Strawberry Cheesecake ( my favourite), Floating on a Cloud, and Whipped Vanilla. Every single one has been high quality fragrance. Each has a unique smell, that really lasts a long time. Not over powering with alcohol when sprayed. Not a watered down cheap kids body spray, a grown up treat yourself spray. Great for at home spa days or a gift you can be proud of to give to a friend.

For under $5 I couldn't help but give this product a try. I tried to pick the most conservative scents. Now I want to try them all just out of curiosity... Lol. I tried "Cherry Blossom" and "Blue Denim". I was was happy with both. Cherry Blossom per label is "cherry blossom, cedarwood, pear". My personal opinion: Appropriate for anyone who wants a warmer/sweeter cherry scent with a warmer after-tone of a low key sweet/musky-like perfume. I guess the musky scent is the cedarwood coming thru. Noticeable enough that you're definitely wearing a light perfume. It's on the heavier/long lasting side for a mist (VS light and fresh). So if you like your scent to be noticeable, this is a good choice. I wouldn't categorized it as understated though and it does leave a sweet/warm musky scent after the first kick of cherry wears off. Altho I like the scent, I won't purchase this scent again since it was a bit too perfumey for my taste. Blue Denim per label is "blue freesia and juicy clementines... Velvety magnolias, light tropical fruits, sweet vanilla". I think they over-reached in that description. My personal opinion: Appropriate for anyone who wants a light citrus scent. Tart like fresh citrus yet with a balance of sweet edge (which is likely the vanilla in the mix). Fresh, cool & clean. Not heavy. I dislike tropical... Yet don't detect anything tropical about this scent (ex. Coconut). Nor would I say it has any floral scent. I give this a two thumbs up for citrus fans as an all around "go to" for a lighter fresh/crisp citrus scent. Leans more towards citrus tart VS citrus sweet. I would definitely purchase this again because its lighter and not obvious, along with my preference for citrus based scents. Both scents only lasted an hour or two. So don't purchase thinking that you'll get any long lasting benefits. But even so, they are a treat to use after a shower or just as a refreshing pick-me-up for folks who don't want to use heavier perfumes.

I love this scent, it's a little floral, but not overpowering for my senses. My husband also loves how it smells. I can't wait to try other scents. It also lasts all day. Also a really good size bottle for the price.

Was looking forward to receiving bodycology's Blue Denim fragrance mist. The scent is listed as blue freesia and juicy clementines; the label indicates the spray is paraben, phthalate and cruelty free. Knew it was not going to have any significant scent when the cap is removed and could barely smell anything at the sprayer (unlike other body sprays I have). It's not overwhelming in any way -- it's actually grossly underwhelming. Even after spraying on skin, it is barely noticeable --regardless of how much is sprayed, sprayed diffusely or if sprayed as a significant amount in the same spot. May only be able to notice the scent with a nose pressed to skin in the sprayed area -- and it does not last for any significant time. Not much of a freesia scent nor citrusy in any way. Will consider it money wasted and not even worth taking up space on the vanity. The label mentions "for all over freshness", you could "spray in the air and and let the fine mist gently surround" you.....pfffft. there may be mist, but that's about all. Sprayer works fine, arrived without issue (in a sealed bag). Made in China.
