Pusheen: A Cross-Stitch Kit (RP Minis) [Belton, Claire] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Pusheen: A Cross-Stitch Kit (RP Minis) Review: Not perfect, but very fun. - The PSA: Read the instructions. I see a few reciews saying the thread is too thick, and thats because it is. The instructions says to cut a piece about 18inches long then seperate the 6 strands that make up the thread. This makes it useable and the amount of the thread given in this kit is way more than enough for the three patterns it gives. The good: A fun way to pass the time. The instructions are straight forward and there is PLENTY of thread to make even more than the three patterns the kit comes with. The patterns are super cute and simple for a beginner like me. The middle: I didn't have too much trouble with the smallness of the pattern, but I can see how someone with worse eyesight might have trouble seeing and counting stitches. There are only three patterns to pick from and two of them involve a donut. While they are super cute, it would have been nice to have more to pick from. A needle threader would've been nice to include, but its not too hard as long as you seperate the thread into 6 pieces and wet the tip of the thread before trying to thread it. The bad: The instructions could come with pictures or a link to a cute pusheen cross stitch video. I have never cross stitched before and while the instructions were enough to understand, I still had to fill in some gaps of knowledge. Like "what do I do with the end of the thread? Do I just leave it untied and dangling in the back?" Also, I didn't start in the center like the instructions say to. The hoop is so small that I was worried if I started in the middle, I would end up off and the pattern wouldn't fit in the hoop. I started this pattern from the bottom. Another con is that the hoop is rather small. Its just barely big enough to fit the pattern. Also, its kind of hard to seperate the thread into 6 strands because of how it twists back onto itself, but after a few tries you can figure out the best way to do it. After its all said and done though, this is a fun way to pass the time. I hadn't even considered adding cross stitich to my arts & crafts knowledge but I think I might now. It's a good introduction into cross stitich, especially for its cheap price. If you don't have much patience though I wouldn't try this. The picture above is about 5 hours of work and I'm not even done! Review: PERFECT - Super cute, Super fun, and easy to understand the guide they have! For only 10$ DEFINITELY worth it

Great kit to start cross stitching.
I wanted to get into cross stitching, but I didn’t want to waste money on buying individual supplies in case I ended up not liking it. This is THE kit to buy to start cross stitching. It gives you 3 pieces of Aida for 3 projects, a hoop, 2 needles, thread, and a pattern book. The book goes over the steps of cross stitching, but it might be more handy to look up videos. There is more than enough thread to do the projects if you follow the directions (use a single thread and fold it in half). If you try to use 2-3 strands, you will run out of thread or the needle will break which is what happened to me in my last project. The needles are not tapestry needles. I would say they are probably embroidery needles Or sharps because I got poked a few times. I would also recommend buying a separate needle threader because the eye is small. The inner hoop is a little smaller than 3 inches so depending on the pattern you might need to move the hoop around to fit. Overall, this is a great low stakes entry into cross stitching, and I had a lot of fun.

Easy, quick, cute!
Includes 3 designs and enough fabric and floss to complete them, needle, mini hoop (pink), and instruction booklet. I would have liked pictures of what they would look like when finished. The pictures on the box are just illustrations, not representative of finished project and the booklet just had the stitching guide. There is no back-stitch and I felt the face details were not detailed enough so I chose to do back-stitch around the eyes and nose, etc. The kit included 2 needles, which was handy because the first one bent (never had that happen with cross-stitch before!) The included fabric is cut so that they are 3 pieces that are 4"x4". For framing, I would use a 3"x3" opening for each of the three. I enjoyed working on these--they were fast and easy to do---and Pusheen is cute!

Okay For Beginners
It’s cute and a good starter kit if you don’t have other supplies. I bought it just to see if cross stitch was something I would enjoy without having to lay out a bunch of money. Here are my thoughts: - This item is appealing to children. However, the needle provided is not a blunt-tipped cross stitch needle, but a sharp sewing needle. - The Aida cloth provided is very small and will only fit in the tiny hoop provided. It was hard for me, with adult sized hands, to work with it. My ten year old daughter had the same frustration. - The small book provided gives good directions for absolute beginners. - Plenty of thread is provided.

Buy this kit, so worth it!
If you like cross stitch, love Pusheen, or just want a super fun and easy project: buy this kit! I loved it so much that I did all 3 projects over the course of three days. The kit comes with helpful instructions, a hoop, 3 pieces of cross stitch fabric, 2 needles, and plenty of thread to make these patterns and have lots of left over. The patterns turned out so cute that I may buy some extra fabric and make more as gifts for my friends . I'm a big Pusheen fan, so I knew I needed this kit as soon as I saw it and I didn't regret my purchase! My only complaint is that the center of the pattern isn't market, so I had to take an extra step of counting the stitches really carefully to make sure I centered the project. But that is a really minor issue. I really hope they will make more of these, because I need all of the Pusheen!!

I love Pusheen, and got this. It's a great little kit for beginners. Comes with a good amount of thread and the patterns are easy to read.

I loved working with this kit!
This was absolutely an adorable kit to finish. I love Pusheen and the cross stitch kit was easy to follow. Considering this is my first cross stitch in over 20 years, I had a lot of fun getting back into it with my favorite chubby tabby cat. Now I just need to find a way of displaying the finished product!

Love it. First time ever trying cross stitch and I thought this little kit was super cute. The booklet was very easy to understand and the patterns easy to follow. The size of the kit is very cute, it was smaller then I expected but I found the small working size less overwhelming as I completed the projects.

Sehr niedliches kleines Set.
