If you're a bit careless taking off the back wheel of a bike with a Bafang Middrive electric conversion (to change a tire for example), you're going to break off the bracket holding the speed sensor and will need a new one (i.e. from this company). That's what I did and sprang for next day shipping to get my Wife's E-bike back on-line. For the record, the assist function still works without the sensor seeing the magnet, you just get an error code and the display stays blank. I would have preferred getting just the bracket and strap ties, but no matter, it's fixed and we're happy!

I've been riding my bike almost every day for two years now and have switched the motor twice to different frames. Bafang 750 watt mid drive 48 volt. And unfortunately in reattaching the sensor I over tightened the set screw and it broke. I contacted the seller hoping for a deal on a replacement. They have gone above and beyond every other customer service department that I have ever dealt with. No questions about it. But, since it was way past the warranty it was wishful thinking. Hey, you can try right. You never know until you try right. So I had to purchase a new one. Exactly the same as the original but at 1/4 of the price. What more can I say.

Appears to be a genuine Bafang part. Should work fine. If you have a bike with BBS mid motor - this is a consumable part. If you ride the bike enough, this part will eventually break and need to be replaced. Location at back wheel exposes it to water, mud, impacts etc. I keep a spare in my parts stockpile.

I have a Bafang BBS02B mid drive motor installed on a Trek Navigator 2.0. I've had it for a while and during my last ride it snapped off while riding.
