These are expensive but the slate has made flossing SO much easier. I used to floss by hand, which was a long tedious process. Washing your hands and drying them and then sticking your fingers in your mouth and wrapping used floss around your fingers didn't seem very hygienic. The dental flossers were a step up, but you still needed to put your hands in your mouth. These do not require you to put your fingers in your mouth and it is very easy to wash your flosser (or dip it in a mouthwash/Listerine to sterilize it). The floss comes in variety of different packs but all seem to have somewhat thick floss. My teeth are tight and with first use of the floss it is difficult to get between some of my teeth. With use the floss thins and it becomes easier. Eventually the floss breaks and you need a new flosser head. The floss is PFAS-Free which a lot are not. I wish the company would make a variety of floss thicknesses. It would also be nice if they had a reusable head where you could clamp your own floss. I would certainly purchase their floss if this were an option. Every member of my family now uses this product.

Expensive replacement heads, but they hold up well and do a good job. I do like my slate flosser.

This device is, without question, the best thing you can do for yourself and your loved ones. Use as instructed with a reasonably good level of gum health and you can't go wrong. If your gums are starting to cause concern, this may be the ticket and if it's too late, you'll need it after recovery. The refills fit exactly as the originals. Good luck.

I am in love with these!! I try to take very good care of my teeth because l have Sjögrens disease. It doesn’t damage your gums , you don’t have to force the string between your teeth.

Slate is the only brand that is non-toxic and safe for kids. I love that the refill packs last longer than Flaus!

My husband heard about this flosser from our son and they were two people who didn’t floss nearly often enough, but this has upped their game considerably.

I love the flosser itself but the floss is awful. For the price that is being charged, it is ridiculous. They constantly break and you are not able to use them multiple times, like it claims.

Easy to use and works really well. It was already fully charged so I was able to use it when I received it.

I purchased the floss cord, but it is not nearly as durable as the ones that come with the flosser. I have already broken two in one week.

No stars, not what I expected for the price. I thought each unit was rethreadable. My own fault for making assumptions. Way too pricey for single use flossers
