I have been disappointed with most of the kitchen cutting gadgets I have tried, but this one is a big exception. It is made from sturdy plastic and it feels solid when it is set up. The cutting blade is all but hidden, making an accidental cut very unlikely. It operates smoothly and effortlessly. There is a dial to set the thickness of the slices, so there's no need to change parts. It cleans easily and folds flat for easy storage. I've only had it for a short time, but so far I have found nothing negative. I would buy this again.

This works! The set up is easy, the cutting is smooth. I’ve used it for carrots, cucumbers, and strawberries. It worked well on all of those, with the cross cut feature and slices. The catch basket fits securely in place. The clean up is easy, rinses clean. The shoot that you push the veggies/fruit through has a pusher, so you can’t cut yourself, feels very safe. Pleased with this purchase!

Best mandolin slicer I’ve ever had. It’s really easy to use and it stick good to my counter. It’s safe and the blades are very sharp. Test the thickness one one slice before going to town on chopping. I regretted the thickness of my cucumber but the motion is so smooth that I kept going without checking. It seems like a really great value Vs others I have tried as its design is very ergonomic and no really huge risk of slicing my finer when using the mechanisms included. The only downside side for me was cleaning as that when safety becomes tricky and it’s a bit difficult to get into the blades and the crevices.

Couldn’t chop raw carrots 🥕 anymore as it bothered my shoulder terribly. Enter this bad boy: incredibly easy to use. Very sharp but not as dangerous as most hand held mandolins. Versatile. Different settings control the thick and thin. Eliminated shoulder pain. Score!!! Excellent product. 100 ⭐️’s

If you're just cutting up a few things, you might as well just use a regular knife and save you lots of parts to wash up. However, if you're preparing root vegetables for a family, this is a great device, it produces even slices with little effort.
