The ESR 2‑Pack Armorite Screen Protector for the iPad Pro 13" (M5/M4 2025/2024) is one of the best tempered‑glass protectors I’ve used. The glass feels premium, installs cleanly, and the clarity is outstanding—no rainbow effect, no haze, and touch sensitivity stays just as smooth as the bare screen. The installation frame makes the process almost foolproof. Both protectors went on bubble‑free, and the alignment was perfect on the first try. The Armorite glass itself feels extremely durable, giving the iPad a solid layer of protection without adding any thickness you can feel during use. The oleophobic coating works well too, keeping fingerprints to a minimum and making the screen easy to wipe clean. With two protectors in the pack, it’s also a great value for long‑term use. Overall, this is a high‑quality, tough, and crystal‑clear screen protector that fits the new iPad Pro perfectly. A great investment to keep such an expensive device safe.

After spending so much money on the new iPad Pro, and as fragile as it feels, one of the first things I wanted to do was add a glass screen protector. I’ve used ESR in the past for other accessories so when I saw they sold a screen protector for the latest iPads and offer the crucial application tray, I was happy to buy it. I went with the Armorite version as I want the best quality and durability and don’t mind paying a few more dollars for something that likely will last for the life of the iPad. Installation is obviously the hardest part, environment and air quality are the most important factors, so I applied mine in the bathroom after having some steam built up to help knock any dust or particles out of the air. After cleaning the iPad, the application tray makes the process so easy, giving me a perfectly lined up install. The only issue I had was a few little bubbles and some dust under the glass (not a fault of the product.) Personally, I ran the risk of the slightly lifting up the edges and sliding the dust removal sticker under the glass until I removed the few trapped pieces of dust I had. There were a few bubbles under the glass but I was able to easily press them out and it only took a few minutes and they never came back so I’m not sure why people knock the product for bubbles when it’s very hard to install any screen protector without needing to press out bubbles (especially on one this large.) The install ended up coming out perfect and I now have an extra screen protector in the event that this one ever gets damaged. The only two slight cons I noticed is that the glass appears to be a lot more reflective than the original glass, and it also adds a slight RGB looking filter on the screen (imagine the rainbow you’d see on a wet oil slick or what most plastic screen protectors look like) It’s not really something you’ll notice but going from no screen protector, to adding one, I did notice the image is slightly less sharp, but it’s only noticeable on white backgrounds. It does slightly take away from the new iPad’s beautiful screen but it’s a trade off I’m willing to make for added protection of that beautiful and very expensive screen. I also find it does a better job of not collecting finger prints and feels nicer to glide your finger across than the original glass. I think this is a great screen protector for the money, mostly due to the application tray which makes the process very easy. But the most important key to a perfect installation is the prep working of having the screen perfectly clean, and having the best environment, free of dust and debris in the air. If there are any bubbles you should be able to press them out. I just wish it didn’t have that slight distortion to the clarity of the screen that I don’t think I’ve gotten from other screen protectors.

UPDATE: Rita on ESR’s Customer Care team contacted me and offered a full refund and free replacement by expedited shipping. The second set of screen protectors are clean without any scuffs or foreign debris. Very satisfied. Updated my review from 3 stars to 5 for their superb customer support. ESR is a great company as always and takes product quality and customer satisfaction seriously! I used to buy regular ESR screen protectors for all my devices until a year ago I tried their Armorite protectors on my iPhone. From my experience Armorite is much more scratch-resistant than the regular protectors - actually not a scratch on my phone at all so far. Therefore, I bought Armorite again for my new 13” iPad Air for enhanced protection of its large surface. Upon opening the box, to my surprise I noticed some dirt and scuffs on the top piece of the two protectors – to be exact, on the bare glass surface in one of the four cutout slots of the top protective film. This seemed strange to me given it's Armorite and the box was intact. Secondly, foreign materials were also trapped between the glass and both the top and bottom protective films around the edge where you would first peel off before installation. Not sure if it’s due to shipping but the debris looked like loosen specks from the product box itself. Though the QR code for the setup video doesn’t work, installation was easy. Had some bubbles after the 1st attempt due to the debris mentioned above, so I lifted up the edges and removed them with the dust removal sticker provided and laid the protector back down. Took me an extra 10 minutes or so but finally successful without any bubbles or debris after 3 attempts. While the protector looks great and is of good quality, its edges are sharp and not rounded like those for my iPhone. I prefer curved edges which are smooth and nice to the touch. Usually ESR’s products are of top quality yet this is the first time I’ve received scuffed screen protectors with dirt and foreign debris from them. I’m slightly disappointed. I used this kit to install a screen protector on an iPad Air. Overall it was easy to use. The inclusion of a installation tray, screen cleaner and protector with install guides was really useful. Some notes: - The iPad fit perfectly in the provided tray. - The screen cleaner pack includes cleaner, cloth and dust sticker. The cleaner is not alcohol. Its something else with a strong chemical scent. All three parts were easy to use. - Applying the screen protector involved removing the backing sticker and placing protector with guides over the appropriate tabs in the provided tray. Somehow, even with the guiding tabs the protector did not apply quite right. The screen protector overlapped 1-2 mm over one edge of iPad, enough to prevent placing the iPad in a case. I had to peel the screen protector up (not that easy) and lay it down again in a better position. Despite smoothing the edge down, there's still a small section in the corner not a clinging correctly. But the iPad will be in a case so no big deal. It seems like the guiding tabs on the install tray or the protector itself might not be positioned perfectly. I noticed the screen protector guides do not center correctly on the install tray, providing enough flexibility for the install to be imperfect. I can't speak to durability, yet; but so far, it is a decent product with room for improvement

Installation was easy. The included tray makes alignment straightforward and removes the usual frustration. Once installed, it is completely transparent with no impact on clarity. It does pick up fingerprints, but not nearly as badly as the built in glass, and it cleans off very easily. I have had it on my iPad for just under a year with no scratches or cracks. Overall, I am very happy with it and would buy it again.

Stellar product. It comes with a holster you put your iPad in to get the screen protector perfectly on. It’s smooth and I paid the extra few dollars for their higher quality protector which is worth the investment as these last long. I have others on my phone.

See Update Below: Glad I bought a 2 Pack. First Protector went pretty much as described. Cleaning process of the new iPad Screen went well. Cleaning process followed approach used by other Sellers/Manufacturers. Installed the iPad in the provided tray, and positioned the Protector per instructions. There are two sheets attached to the external side of the Protector that marry up with the Tray to provide proper alignment (B1 & B2 per Instruction Diagram); you can’t see under the sheets. Protector aligned perfectly. Performed the initial air bubble removal on the central portion of the screen instructions. I then removed the B2 Alignment Sheet and discovered to white granules between the Protector and Screen. They stuck out like the proverbial ‘sore thumb’. Attempted to remove the granules and re-apply the Protector; however without B2 in place, I could not get proper alignment. Pulled off the first Protector, and starting ‘from scratch’ install the second Protector from the 2 Pack. Went perfectly. Successful installation. I then attempted to register my warranty. The Scan Code returned a ‘404 Not Found’ error. Google Search found the Seller, and the fact that they have a ‘new platform’. Entered the website and created an account; however I could not locate a ‘Warranty Registration’ link. Generated a Customer Support Request containing the information above. Requested Warranty Registration instructions and replacement of the first Protector. The granules were too large, and light colored to escape detection and pickup using the sticky Cleaning Pad 3. It’s been about four days since my Customer Support Request. UPDATE; ESR has been very responsive since the above review was posted. They immediately apologized, and offered a full refund. ESR Customer Service also provided an updated list of links to address my website issue. Stuff happens, and I judge a Seller based more on the response to the problem than the problem itself. Once ESR became aware of the problem, they jumped on it. I’ve also implemented web-based systems, and can appreciate that unforeseen start-up issues occur. I am now a happy, satisfied customer!

I rarely write reviews for stuff I buy, unless there is something exceptional about the product, good or bad. This screen protector is exceptionally good and I couldn’t wait to write a review for it. First, the installation video (QR Code on directions) made it super easy to follow along and know exactly how to install the protector. I’d much rather watch a video about how to install it rather than read directions. Written directions are provided for those that prefer that method. Secondly, the installation kit is top notch. It was foolproof, as long as the screen is cleaned properly and all dust particles removed. The tray and lock in features on the screen protector made it the easiest installation ever for my 12.9” iPad. It really is slick and lined up perfectly. I’m blown away by how well the tray and alignment features secure the perfect fit. So simple and easy to install! Lastly, the protector has a very smooth feel to it, perfect for using my pencil on it without getting stuck while gliding across the screen. Fingerprints are virtually non-existent. I have the same Amorite protection for my phone and I haven’t had any fingerprints on it for weeks at a time. I know that’s hard to believe, but it’s true! It feels very nice when scrolling, or playing a game where you are swiping a lot. They only drawback is the glare. Because it is so clear and smooth, you will have a glare that the iPad screen itself reduced quite well. Not a problem indoors or at night, but noticeable if you use it outside quite a bit with low screen brightness. The glare is well worth the trade off for the smooth, premium feel and ease of everyday use. I’ve owned several screen protectors and I can’t recommend this product enough! Easily the best I’ve purchased when considering the installation process and feel of the product. Well done ESR!
