For the money, this seat bolt and tang cover are an incredible value. I replaced a plain stainless bolt that came on my ‘20 Fat Boy. These are a good cosmetic match my Arlen Ness Deep Cut Fusion grips. I have it securing my Saddlemen Road Sofa seat. The seat came with a rubber disc to protect the paint from the seat tang, so the whole assembly sits up just a bit if you bend down and look close, but it isn’t noticeable from standing. The bolt is tall, but easily clears my saddle. The threads are long enough to get down into the mount nut despite several layers of new material, and doesn’t protrude under the fender. Note, there are no instructions, it’s a seat bolt. But it comes with an extra washer and lock washer, perhaps some bikes need those, I didn’t. I also didn’t use the double stick pad it came with. I wanted it to sit down as much as possible and I was already going to be well clear of the paint.

Good fit looks goo seems to be good quality aluminum

The screw tab does not fit over the seat tab on my 22 HD Road Glide Special. Had the screw tab underside ridges been thinner, it may have fit. The screw head is also very large and looks out of place. I’m sure some may like it but this is not for me.
