Thermalright AM5 CPU Contact Frame V2 for Secure Frame Kit Anti-Bending Buckle Black

So far so good. We all want the expensive competitor, but I simply could not afford it. The Thermalright is more than good enough for my needs and was a doddle to fit. Obviously I was extremely cautious NOT to overtighten the screws and mine were fine and did not shear. Not tested temps (it is a 7800X3D) it was more about fit, thermal paste and elimination of doubt/abundance of caution.

The plate fits perfectly. Instalation is very easy and straightforward. It comes with the tool and screws in the package and with a small instruction paper. In my case it improved the thermals slightly, on average 2-3 degrees celsius in short intense loads and 1-2 degrees celsius in long intense loads. Highly recommended in any mid-tier or high-end build

I bought this for £11.04 for my Ryzen 7 9800X 3D, because I didn't want to spend £30 on a Thermal Grizzly contact frame. The reason I wanted a contact frame is that I don't want thermal paste in all of the CPU cutouts. These contact frames are also supposed to help with temperatures, and they are easy to install, so why wouldn't you get one ?

This is a welll designed AM5 CPU bracket. It does indeed keep the CPU in place much better than the original AM5 original fold over clamp, and giving its closer proximity to the CPU does prevent thermal paste overspill getting to circuitry around the CPU. I've not noticed any improvement in temperatures, but the mounting alone i believe is worth the fitting. Thank you

Easy to install, but it made fitting the AIO cooler an absolute ball ache (arctic freezer pro iii) as the mounting brackets clash with the frame.

Really easy to mount. Got it as a preventative measure, I have a 9900X3D heard they get pretty hot and can warp a little.. this will prevent that from happening.. also protects all the contacts around the cpu so make applying liquid metal less risky..

Although you don’t need one for AMD it’s really nice to have as the build quality is very sturdy and great. Having one of these makes the installation of your CPU less messy when applying thermal paste and the installation of the frame itself is very easy. Once installed it looks really good and fits my CPU perfectly. The price is very good for the quality of what you’re getting and the functionality for what you pay for is perfect.

Exactly as described, sturdy clean looking touch for the build, no sag or leaning on my Thermalright Frozen Warframe 360 PRO, fantastic thermal too! That puppy helps my 9600x run at 42 degrees at max load on OCCT on tropical climate room and at 32 degrees in a climate controlled room. I've haven't seen more than 73 degrees ever, only Marvels Rivals at full quality managed to hit those temperatures. Pretty easy to install, following Thermalright's own youtube channel guide really helps.
