Professional-Grade Label Maker – Tons of Tape Options & Bluetooth Control
This is hands down the best label maker I’ve used. The PT-E560BTVP prints crisp, durable labels and has a huge variety of compatible tapes—including heat shrink tubing, which is a game changer for electrical work. It’s built like a tank and feels professional-grade. What really sets it apart is the Bluetooth connectivity and P-touch app—you can design and print custom labels right from your phone. It’s fast, easy, and way more flexible than typing on the built-in keyboard (though that works great too). I've used it for organizing toolboxes, electrical panels, bins, and more. The laminated TZe tapes hold up to heat, water, and abrasion without fading or peeling. If you want a label maker that does it all and then some, this is the one to get. Totally worth the investment.

Saves time, lots of functionality. Great replacement for Dymo Rhino.
I was hoping to have a great labeler to replace my Dymo Rhino and I think this is it. I have a lot of serialization needs along with custom layouts. The software, so far, has given me what I need. Hardest part was getting the drivers installed for Windows 11, and the Bluetooth connection going. I've not yet been able to get it to work with my Mac M4...another day. Once connected to my Windows machine and P-Touch editor installed, I was able to serialize over 700 circuit boards in a few hours. You will love the cutter on this machine. The fact that it will do what they call a "Half cut" will safe you hours of tedious peeling that you'd get with the Dymo Rhino. P-Touch editor gives you some control over that. I've had very little waste of tape, compared to the Dymo, thanks to the options they give you on how to print. I use the "back-to-back" option in conjuction with the half-cut option and get a lot of labels for the tape. Really glad I got this.

worth getting over the non-bluetooth
worth buying, easy to make a label with the printer, but you can make all sorts of stuff via the app. Worth getting the bluetooth one over the non-wireless one. The 50 bucks is worth it for me.

Professional tool
Fantastic little label printer on its own but together with the android app and pc software it makes a professional labeling system, to avoid tape waste just print labels as a set instead of one by one. You can open the case, leave the printer in it and print with the app and Bluetooth, the case does not block the label shoot. The shrink fit tapes work very well and goes all the way to 23.6mm HSE tape for 13.5mm diameter cable, cables thick enough to not fit 23.6mm tape probably needs a cable tag anyway but you can make TZe tape label in any diameter if needed. This is a pro level device in every way with a lot of attention to detail, ease of use and producing professional resuls.

Much improved over older models
This is my favorite label maker so far. I bought a different model P Touch last year, but it was stolen on a job site a few months ago, so I bought this one. The old one was annoying; you would have to hit print, it would then spit out a half-inch of tape, and then you had to hit print again, it would then cut that piece off, and then print the label. This model no longer does that (thank god!). It cuts through the front of the tape, but not through the backing paper, which makes it very easy to peel the labels off the paper backing. No more having to catch a piece of scrap tape, and then the label, and no more struggling to separate the label at one of the corners. These may sound like minor improvements, but on big job sites like NFL stadiums, they'll save me hours. I tried the app, but it didn't seem to save any time, so I doubt I'll ever use it again.

Few software nitpicks, awesome hardware
Love this label maker for the most part! Before I get to my praise, I have two problems with it: 1. There’s no way to queue up multiple half cut labels on device. Shift+enter creates a new block, not mutliple half cut labels. This is annoying if I want to print out maybe 5 different labels, since while the device is printing the screen is blocked. So specifically: - Enter label text - Hit print - Wait for the label to print (10+ seconds) - Enter second label - Repeat print And so on. Those 10s waits become a HUGE time waster when printing hundreds or thousands of consecutive labels. Two possible fixes: Allow typing while printing or allow queuing up labels with half cuts 2. The brother label app doesn’t auto save labels. This can be a problem when there’s bluetooth connection issues with the label maker. If the connection fails, my draft label is lost. Example workflow: - I spend 3m crafting the optimal label. For example a label with a QR code asset ID and a custom image - I go to print the label - Bluetooth connection issues (happens, Bluetooth is finicky) - My carefully crafted label is gone, no way to recover - I have to recreate from scratch, wasting another 3m and adding frustration. Possible fixes: Autosave printed labels in the app via an attempted print history. Ok! That’s it for my gripes, now the praise. - Super quick to print any label - Multiples are ultra easy and core workflow (shift + print -> select 10 labels -> go!) - QR code support - Custom images support - Usb C charging and rechargeable battery And probably much more I haven’t encountered yet. Best label maker I’ve had by far, the hardware is perfect as far as I know.
