This cooler is a perfect fit for the Raspberry Pi 5 and makes a big difference in temperature control. The aluminum heatsink combined with the active fan keeps my Pi running cool, even under heavy loads, and I haven’t noticed any throttling. Installation was straightforward, the build feels solid, and the fan runs quietly. A must-have if you’re using the Pi 5 for projects that push performance.

This cooler functions perfectly for me and my Pi. The fan isn't too loud and it seems to do a great job of keeping it cool, so overall I'd definitely recommend and would purchase again if needed.

Absolutely thrilled with the Geekworm Active Cooler for Raspberry Pi 5 H505! This aluminum heatsink with a PWM fan is a game-changer for my setup. The installation was straightforward, and the cooling performance is outstanding, keeping my Pi at optimal temperatures even under heavy load. The build quality is top-notch, and the design is sleek and compact, fitting perfectly without obstructing other components. The PWM fan operates quietly and efficiently, making it ideal for both performance and noise-sensitive environments. Highly recommend this cooler for anyone looking to enhance their Raspberry Pi's performance and longevity!

I've tried a variety of cooling options for Raspberry Pi 5 and this is the best. It maintains consistently lower temperatures than others under the same workload and it has the advantage that it makes contact with more heat sources on the board. I especially like the fact that the fan speed automatically varies according to temperature. So far I've had no problems with the thermal pads. However, on a couple of my RPI5s, I'm trying out an innovation suggested by another contributor which is (ironically) to forego the heat pad on the ARM processor and just use thermal paste. Because the processor is more prone (sticks up more) than the other chips, this has the effect that the heat sinks clamps more tightly to the other heat sources while still maintaining direct contact with the cpu. Having the cooling mounted on the board rather than the case gives you many more options for enclosures. In addition, the unit does not interfere with any of the various HATs I've tried so far. So a good design with all expandability options remaining open.
