AS530K 50cm Electric Cooker with Solid Plate Hob - Black

My last Beko cooker lasted many years and I have confidence with this one. It's easy to use and heats up fast. The oven is large and the grill really is great. It cooks right to the edge and the grill tray is huge. I could go on and on as I'm so pleased

Good oven only bit I don’t like is the grill

This cooker is ideal for all my uses, as a single man I don't need a larger cooker so this one is ideal in all its functions. So far I can't fault it. The price was good, delivery swift and installation was easy, if you already have an electric cooker use the connecting cable already there or just get a new one from a DIY store.

Value for money, a simple cooker that works well. The oven has a steam cleaning function.

I've used the oven on this 5 times and now it doesn't work at all. Unless I'm the one unlucky person to get a faulty one, I'd advise against buying this. You get what you pay for. Should of went with a better name and paid the extra.

Okay so had thus awhile now and feel i have to rewrite my review honestly so to start with the rings work well they heat up fast but that's the same for electric stoves the knows are very smooth I like a fried egg with some meals and use the front left the big ring at the front so eggs spit oil when frying this oil hits the power knows and makes turning them down or off difficult unlike my old cooker some grip would of been nice I need a tea towel to turn them off or down so onto the oven now it only has one shelf which makes oven cooking tedious you can't have say a roast chicken and another tray for say roast potatoes or yourshire pudding you have to do one at a time now the temp I like to make my own bread and yourshire puds the oven is quite slow to reach temp when I first used it I set the temp to 180 and it got to that temp perfectly but that's the only time it did cold trays placed inside drop the temp alot and when making bread the temp doesn't stay to what you need it to be I made yourshire puds for my Christmas dinner the oven was set very high and made my batter got the tray smoking hot I poured the batter and placed back in oven the started to rise but the oven regulated itself it turns off internally to stop overheating sounds a good idea but not helpful when making yorkies the oven cools slightly then reheats like central heating end result was yorkies that were cooked but didnt rise as they should of you know when its regulating as the oven light goes out for a min or two I didnt time it but you need it always on when making yorkshires my old oven never did this and I always got perfect yorkies so I find the oven part disappointing for two reasons the lack of a second shelf and the oven turning off periodically thirdly the knobs getting oil spit from frying and can't grip them when happens sadly quite disappointing I hate to leave bad reviews but honesty is important and buyers need to know when buying items as I always read them when I'm shopping.

We ordered this as a temporary cooker as we are refurbishing the kitchen next year. We were pleased with the quality and it is VFM , it heats up quickly and enough room to do what we need for a family of 4. A pleasant looking cookee also.
