cloudfield Wood Frame Sunglasses for Men and Women with 9-Layer Polarized Lenses and Double Layer of UV Blocking Coating

I bought these 1) because I didn't have a good pair of sunglasses to fit my fat head, and 2) because I was going on a beach vacation and wanted some floating glasses in case they flew off my head from a big wave or something. I normally don't spend much money on sunglasses but these were worth it and were still relatively inexpensive for what you get. Pros: -got a lot of compliments about how good they looked on me, which I normally don't with sunglasses since they usually are too small. These just seemed to fit everyone that tried them on, just a good style. -great packaging. Comes in a bamboo tube for protection, has a cloth glasses case inside for further protection, a microfiber cloth to clean the lenses, and as an added bonus a string to connect to the frame in case you want them to hang around your neck and not fall off. -bamboo is lightweight, they float, feels good on the head, fits well. -lenses block out the sun and you still can see really well through them. cons: -nada I'm very happy with my purchase, and will be going with Cloudfield sunglasses in the future if I need another pair.

Update 5/25/2019 The manufacturer sent me a replacement pair of glasses a couple of weeks ago. They’re still in one piece, so I’m optimistic. I have been storing them in the provided wooden container anytime I put them in my bag or glove compartment. I think the bottom line is that these are a really good pair of glasses as long as you treat them as if they’re made of wood :). The upside to that is they’re much lighter than my ray bans and have very good tension, so I’m not worried about them flying off my face. My only tentative concern is how they’ll hold up to moisture (e.g. swear or rain). If they are any other issues, I’ll update my review again, but I definitely recommend them as of now. I ordered these sunglasses, because I went to Florida on vacation and forgot my normal pair. I love the look of them, and they’re very lightweight. The downside is that they’re extremely fragile. They literally lasted me two days before they broke. Full disclosure, I did not carry them around in the hardened wood case they came in. I did, however, have them in a semi-hard ray ban case whenever I didn’t wear them. They ended up breaking inside of the case when I had them in my backpack. It’s possible that someone kicked my bag when I wasn’t looking, but I doubt it. If you are incredibly careful with your glasses, these are pretty trendy ones. Otherwise, I would go with something else.

I really like these. They block so much glare and while the lenses are darker than I like, they are just what I need to protect my eyes on the days when there is so much bright sunshine.These sunglasses came with a microfiber cloth for cleaning, a nice soft cloth carrying bag, and were packaged in a cool wooden cylinder that protected them. Size wise they are a tad bit big for my face but I totally understand that they were designed for a one size fits all market. They still fit well enough for me. One of my favorite things is that they do not have those nose pieces that press in and hurt my nose. They have the continuous bridge which is much more comfortable. I only got them yesterday so can't speak for how long they will last, but they seem to be very sturdy and the wood is pretty cool looking. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good pair of polarized sunglasses.

I've purchased multiple Cloud field bamboo framed sunglasses, usually the all-wooden style with brown lens. These are made with high quality materials. My husband loved it just as much I do since it's so lightweight and the lens are polarized. He steals mine when I'm not wearing them as they're quite gender neutral. This time, I got the pink ones because they were cheaper than the all wooden framed ones. Perfect for the valentine look and hopefully husband won't touch them. (lol) It did not come with the wooden case this time, but I don't mind. Price-wise, it's worth the buy due to the quality, but I hate losing them because they're a pain in the wallet to keep repurchasing. Thank you for making such lovely, natural-looking, and sturdy sunglasses. I'm a fan!

I just received these today. I was very impressed with the packaging they come with which was a nice wooden cylinder as a hard case and then a nice drawstring bag as a soft case. The glasses are very lightweight. I didn't check the weight before I bought them but they are very lightweight. I'm 6-1 with a average size head and they fit me just right. Not too big not too small. No slippage when I look down. These have the amber lenses which I love because they make greens pop. I took a walk this afternoon and it's very sunny outside. Beautiful day and the glasses enhanced the experience. I'll update the review in a couple of months to see how they hold up. They seem to be crafted well.

I liked the look and feel but would not recommend for purchase. Even with care it was not durable, developing discoloured streaks on the lens far too easily then handle cracking.

I got these for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved them so much! He thought the wooden design of the Cloudfield glasses is super unique and loved the style. We both liked how the case matches and I thought it was a nice masculine design although the sunglasses themselves are perfect for any gender. The shape is really great because we feel they would look good on any face shape. They stay in the face even while biking on bumpy roads. The lenses are nice and dark and really block the rays. He likes how they can be dressed up or down and he always reaches for his Cloudfield sunnies as first choice when leaving the house now. We both highly recommend!

These are fabulous glasses and the package is fully loaded with a semi-rigid case, a soft lens cleaner bag and a separate lens cleaner—a super generous deal. I love the look of the glasses, especially seeing as they are a fraction of the price you’d pay in a department store. The red frames and wooden arms are fun and different while remaining stylish, creating a very versatile look. They are light weight and very comfortable, while providing great relief from bright sunshine. All in all, I could not be happier.
