Much better then I expected
I was needing a carport for the longest time and as soon as I saw this one I knew I had to order it because the price was too good to pass up, especially for the size being a 12X20. To my surprise delivery took only 3 days and it came in 4 different boxes on the same day. I opened every package and counted everything included and nothing came up missing, everything was there. Every part was neatly labeled with its corresponding letter. To my surprise it even came with a box full of self tapping screws. A tip I have for the screws is don't use an impact, use a regular drill instead that way you don't strip the screws (which is easily done with too much force). Me and a buddy had everything up and installed within 5 hours. It's really straightforward so don't get too discouraged as this kit truly is for everyone. The lengthiest part was removing the plastic film from each metal roof panel. When it came to installing them some holes didn't line up but I attribute that to my gravel driveway not being level, it wasn't a big deal with the self tapping screws however. Another tip I have is to not use the included "waterproof tape" as it doesn't work at all, it's basically a cheap duct tape. I recommend using a patch and seal tape (also known as butyl tape) instead. It's much more sticky and is actually weatherproof and made for roofs, after using this sealant tape I have zero leaks whatsoever so I highly recommend using that instead. All in all I'm happy with this carport, after I used earth anchors to secure the legs this bad boy isn't going anywhere, love this!

Good value for the price. Instructions are misleading.
Although this canopy is lightweight I am impressed with it's structural engineering. Understand that this is a $400 building and I believe you would be happy with it. Yes the steel, both the frame and roofing panels, are not heavy duty but acceptable for the price. I was happy to find that bolts are used to construct the frame instead of screws. This is a much stronger connection and the ability to disassemble without losing structural integrity if you need to take apart a section. Assembly is fairly straightforward though the instructions leave a bit to be desired, hence for the 4-star rating. Barely any descriptive instructions, only pictures, which works for most of the build but leaves room for interpretation as I found out. In fact some of the pictures are misleading which resulted in me having the side panels longer than supposed to be and leaving a lip on the edge that required me to screw down the overlap edge on the last panel. No huge deal but this led to me having to purchase additional screws because there are no extra provided with the package. I also recommend adding a bead of clear silicone caulk along each overlap of roofing if you want a true waterproof seal. The rubber tape provided will only stop so much leaking and depends on perfect placement on each panel. I'm glad I considered this before assembly. The ground anchors provided are basically useless. You need to provide your own source of anchoring if you will install in any windy area. I considered this as well and anchored to concrete blocks filled with concrete and spiral anchors drilled into the ground. The weakest connection is the base plates but if anchored to the ground sufficiently this shouldn't be a problem. Overall I'm happy with this canopy and is better than expected. Similar structures of higher quality would cost 10x more so I'm content for the price. Last note; directions state to assemble the entire roof structure and then lift to put on the legs. This was not an option for me as I assembled by myself. You will need several others to help if constructing like the directions advise. I completely assembled the frame and put on metal roofing last. This allowed me to construct by myself but will require ladder work. Also remember to have a flat, level surface to construct on if you want the canopy to shed water correctly.

Very satisfied. Easy to assemble and good solid carport.
Very happy with how this went together. Seems to be pretty solid, especially compared to all of the tarp ones we've had over the years. We assembled it on somewhat unlevel ground, so we have a few misaligned holes for the sheet metal, but the self-tapping screws made quick work of that. Didn't end up using the weather strip tape, and just used tar at the seams, but it looks just fine to me. Awesome that they included drill bits and 10mm hex bits too. We probably wouldn't have had any issues whatsoever if done on completely flat ground. not complicated at all. Overall, very satisfied!

Damages car
I have to change my opinion. I do NOT recommend this product. Had a normal for Texas strong thunderstorm last night. Now let me qualify, this carport was anchored down with steel T posts driving 18" -2 feet into the dirt.. Clay, heavy soil. 7 out of the 8 poles. Well very well secured. The 60 mph winds buckled the metal panels on the roof, and folded up, contorted, collapsing, damaging my car. Invest in one's with heavy steel panels. Now my pristine car is really banged up. It would have faired better in the driveway exposed.

Slope Front to Rear
I gave this 20ftX20ft carport five stars due to the outstanding customer support offered by the vendor. The product itself is adequate, stable and a good value, but in my experience careful positioning, and a precise footing is required. I had multiple leaks until I assembled it on a footing that was perfectly flat and sloped to the rear about four inches, to ensure the water would not pond on the roof. As with any roof, starting on the downslope end (rear in my case) and making sure the overlapping sheets spill off onto the next lower sheet. Since you must start at the peak and work down each side, it's important to tuck the edge of successive sheets under the prior installed sheet. The company sent me extra silicone sealant, but I used butyl tape. The butyl will work great if it is installed when it's warm. With two people working together, it took three hours to assemble the frame, 4 hours to remove the plastic film from each and every roof panel (frustrating process but using a piece of PVC as a roller and scoring the edges helped a lot), and five ours to install the sheets and finish the job.
