These are cobalt to last through countersinking in most metals and wood.

Absolute garbage. Won't countersink a hole to save itself. The grind on these is absolutely unacceptable, looks like Stevie wonder ground them with an angle grinder. Didn't even throw them in scrap bin, chucked them in the garbage can. I'd prefer to not give it any stars, but I'm required to give atleast 1.

I have used these to countersink g10 and 1080 steel. So far I have no complaints.

Drills into mild steel like butter. Nice clean results.

The drill cut fairly well but hardly cleared itself. I had to back off a lot more than I expected and eventually had to stop and clean the blades. (I only tested it on thoroughly dry pine, as yet. ) It did cut a good, smooth hole. It comes in a foam lined hard plastic case with a string strap that helps secure it a little and can be used to hang it. That's a convenient feature.
