Powerful, Quiet, and Makes a Noticeable Difference in Air Quality
I recently got the Blueair Blue Pure 511i Max Air Purifier for my home, and so far it’s been working great. Right out of the box it was easy to set up, and after running it for a few days I could tell the air felt cleaner and fresher with less dust and airborne particles floating around. One of the strongest points of the Blueair Blue Pure 511i Max is how quiet it runs. Even on moderate fan speeds, it stays unobtrusive — perfect for bedrooms, living spaces, or any area where background noise matters. It uses Blueair’s HEPASilent technology to pull in air from all around the unit and effectively capture dust, allergens, smoke particles, and pet dander. It’s designed to clean up to around 926 sq ft of air in one hour, which makes it a solid choice for larger rooms or open floor plans. I also appreciate the filter performance — it feels efficient without feeling like the airflow is restricted. Although it’s compact, it doesn’t feel like a small unit; it feels like it’s doing meaningful work when it’s running. Several friends I’ve recommended it to have noted reduction in odor and pollen after a couple days of use. In short, if you’re looking for an air purifier that’s easy to use, effective, and quiet, the Blueair Blue Pure 511i Max is worth it. I’ll update with photos and a short video soon once I’ve had more time with it, but so far this has been a strong addition to my air quality setup.

Works Great, App is User Friendly/Informative
So far, this air purifier has been excellent. The app is very detailed and easy to use, and I like how it explains the readings and what each level means. The technology is great, and the system actually adjusts on its own when windows are open, while cleaning, or when cooking. I do prefer the smart display on the larger unit, but this definitely gets the job done for bedrooms. It runs much quieter than it sounds in up-close videos, even on higher fan speeds. The air feels noticeably cleaner. We have noticed a difference in stuffiness and allergies. We have one large unit for the main floor and two medium ones for bedrooms. I plan to buy at least one more large and three more medium units because they work that well. Great value for the price and quality. I run these all the time at the moment, but love the option to schedule. The size is perfect for a bedroom.

BlueAir Air Purifier Works Great
Blueair Air Purifier was the one I chose because it uses original HEPA filters, along with the strong reviews I read on Amazon and elsewhere — and I am extremely happy with our purchase. I placed it in a room filled with storage boxes that had a musty odor, and it completely eliminated the smell. It runs very quietly, and I truly believe it helps remove dust and allergens from the air. I purchased it during Prime Day and received a great discount, so I’m very pleased with the price as well. If you’re looking to bring freshness to any room in your home, I would definitely recommend Blueair. It truly delivers.

Air feels good and clean no real issues with it.
It's really nice to have, bigger than I expected, but that's even better. It works nicely, and I enjoy having a way to see the air quality on my phone. I used to always get a runny nose due to dust in my room whenever I cleaned, but this has helped me not get as many runny noses anymore. I can see very little, if any, dust in the air (like when you see it in the sunlight). I tested it by blowing out a match in front of it to see if it really detects stuff; it went to max fan speed, which makes me believe this is working. Speaking of fan speed, it's really cool and nice to feel; I honestly replaced my AC with this most of the time. The main reason I would not give it 5 stars would be the lights. I hate sleeping with any type of lights, and whenever I change it using the buttons, it sometimes leaves a light on even in night mode, which in turn I would need to fix by going on the app, which allows me to turn it off. Other than that, the air feels very fresh, and I can hardly smell anything; it feels clean and nice in the room I use it in. It does need to be connected to an outlet instead of battery, which makes it hard to put it in the middle of the area without a cable being in a way, but for it's price, i would say it's really good, the filters aren't too expensive and I would only need to replace them once every 6 months based on how much im using it.

6 weeks in and I love it!
I waited six weeks to write this review so I could get a good feel for this 511i Max since it was a replacement for my Levoit 131s that randomly stopped working just short of the 3yr warranty. First, the app: Simple download and easy set-up. Setting up schedules is a snap and there’s a feature where you can turn on your location so it’ll refresh the air right before you get home (haven’t tried it yet but sounds cool). Noise: A+ I used Decibel X on my phone for the best I could manage and at level 3 (the highest setting) it registered 55.2 decibels (which is halfway between “a quiet home” and “a quiet street”) Level 2 — 44 decibels (white noise level/halfway between Quiet Whisper and Quiet Home) Level 1 — 35 to 40 decibels (halfway between rustling leaves and quiet home) Night mode: 32 to 33 decibels (“rustling leaves”) Suffice to say: this air purifier is quieter than my roommate’s nails clacking on her keyboard in the office across the hall from my room with the door shut even on “High”. I sleep just fine with the schedule I have it on (auto is fine “night” mode isn’t required but drops the decibels a tiny bit more). Air Quality and Movement: in a 64 sq ft room I don’t “feel” the air moving until I put it on level 2 or 3, but it smells fresh enough that I don’t need to do that unless I want to help out my ceiling fan with circulation. I’ll try to come back and update how long it lasts but my last air purifier (not this brand) was perfectly fine until one day, nearly three years into owning it, it stopped working and gave me flashing lights.

Excellent
So far so good, first day. Easy set up. Unboxed and plugged in. Easy buttons and instructions, took one minute to figure out. Love the air quality light on the front that changes colors. Has three fan speeds, automatic setting and a night time mode. Not terribly loud on high, sounds like pleasant white noise, actually like it. Cleans the air super fast. I have allergies so this is awesome. It has an app that tells you when you need to buy a new filter which is super cool (every 9 months). You can also control it from your app. Like it better than the ion ones. I got this one because of the excellent reviews online. And it gets rid of mold with a proper HEPA filter, better than the cheap ones. I bought two of these, one the bedroom and one for the main living area. I'm suspecting mold in my hvac system and bathroom. This is giving me peace of mind while I wait for the testing company. And I'm already breathing better hours later and so are my cats. I needed this anyway. Highly recommend.

High Quality Air Purifer that looks great as well!
Great air filter that is high quality and the App is a good addition that allows you to see current air quality and suggests when to change your filter. Purifier is very quiet when running at low setting and I appreciate that you can adjust the light brightness at night in the bedroom.

Quiet, Effective, and Worth It for Cleaner Air
I’ve been using this BLUEAIR air purifier in my bedroom and small living space for a few weeks now, and it’s been a noticeable improvement. The unit runs very quietly — even on higher settings it’s much less disruptive than I expected, so it’s easy to leave it running overnight or while working at home. It does a solid job of cleaning the air quickly; it claims to cover up to about 926 sq ft in one hour, and I definitely noticed less dust, fewer odors, and crisper air within that range. Setup was easy and the controls are intuitive, so you’re basically good to go right out of the box.
