The Rocktek G2 box itself is good. However, a real serious issue makes it unusable. The android 12 software update makes it a worthless paperweight as it has a bug with sound.....you won't get any.So if you plan to watch movies or anything buy something else. I recommend the nvidia shield pro as I have 2 and bought this as an alternative to having 3 of the same device and wanted it for a childs bedroom. Serious regret now. Wish I paid the extra 40 for a device that has worked perfectly for me for the last 6 years.If you do buy it DO NOT UPGRADE THE ANDROID.

The solution? It’s often related to HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) settings. By disabling HDMI CEC, increasing the system volume, and re-enabling HDMI CEC, most users were able to resolve the issue. Some also mentioned resetting their remote control or devices connected via CEC to fix the problem.For me, this product has been reliable, and I haven’t encountered any of these issues. I highly recommend checking your sound settings, especially if you're using a home theater setup, before concluding that the device is faulty.
