I expected that with such complicated thin grooves this muffin mold would retain much of the baked dough and I’d have to send it back. Au contraire! Thanks to the tips posted here about using brushed “cake goop” as a pan lubricant, NONE of any muffin stayed in the mold when I flipped the pan. And I’m hardly a master baker. The goop tends to drip downward and accumulate at the bottom so some of it showed up at the top of some muffins as a white soft crud that I had to flick off. After that I went easier on the goop. Btw I modified the goop recipe to make it healthier. A little goes a long way, so I wouldn’t bother making a large quantity as just a very small volume home baker. I mixed a quarter cup each of avocado oil, flour, and solidified organic coconut oil (the latter comes in jars in most big grocery stores’ cake ingredients area; I use it in place of gross & cruel pig fat lard or unhealthy veg shortening). Apply with a pastry brush. Worked great!

Ich habe jetzt zum wiederholten Mal eine Backform von Nordic Ware bestellt. Die Lieferung kam überpünktlich (4Tage vor angesagtem Lieferdatum) an. Die Qualität ist wie immer super. Die kleinen Küchlein backen wunderbar durch. Die Formen sind zwar etwas teuer, dafür hat man ein super Backeregbnis und die Formen sind stabil und langlebig.
