One customer asked if it lets light through so i thought a pic might be helpful. We installed this vent on our laundry room door because the HVAC unit was loud but with door closed it was creating a strong vaccume and needed more airflow to not stress unit. We installed 3 of these vents into the door reducing the noise dramatically while still allowing adequate airflow.

Good item, make sure you are comfortable with cutting a hole in your door, the margin for error is small. It seems to help equalize the temperature between the two rooms.

Worked for what we needed but non of the screws worked for the doors we were using them but overall the product worked.

DIY easy to install and follow instructions.

This product gets the job done, but it could be greatly improved. First the screws that are provided come in 3 sizes but they are pointed so if use the wrong size or you screw them too tight they bust right through the cheap plastic cover on the front side. Secondly a measurement template would be super helpful, I spent most of my time making sure my measurements were straight and correct because I had to hand measure everything. Overall not a super difficult installation if you have the right tools, but it will take you some time to do it right. The color is plain white which is exactly what I needed for my project and it fit where I needed to on the door. I just don’t like that the screws are no longer hidden.

Simple and effective. Improves airflow instantly and installs easy. Looks clean once mounted and does exactly what it’s meant to do.

Very easy to install. Placed it in a bedroom door that has to stay closed. A/C unit needed to draw air for return. Vent worked very well.

Very easy to cut and fit, had to adjust a few times to get it just as I wanted to block the draft, yet not rub too much on the carpet. Despite removing and repositioning the level of adhesion is good. Material feels good quality and hard wearing.
