As far as I know these are for leather working not other materials, having said that they're sharp and get the job done. I wouldn't use metal hammers on it though. Easy to use, Good quality steel that will last only as long as the care you give them. This should go without me saying it...put wood under the leather you're about to punch a hole in (to prevent damage to the punches)

These work well. They did need to be sharpend. That's why I only gave four stars.

I like that these are metal, I have been using a hard plastic punch (which worked fine) but I saw these and liked that they came in 10 different sizes.

Used these to munch a perf pattern on a bunch of leather patches. Sharp and worked well.

I tend to store small tools in recycled pill bottles so they don't get lost. These are perfectly sized for that.

I have been using these punches for the past few weeks and haven’t run into any problems. The 1mm punch gets the most use on 5oz leather as I need to punch out 36 holes for each product. Holes are clean and the punched leather ejects cleanly without clogging chute. I’m impressed in the quality of these punches especially for the price. No sharpening was needed to get them functional.

Cheap, and they work, so I can't really complain much, but they don't hold an edge very well.
