I bought this to use with my new iPad 13" M3. I am planning to use the Magic Keyboard most of the time but I've seen way to many photos of broken screens where someone dropped their iPad/Magic Keyboard. On top of that, I was faced with going caseless if I took it out of the Magic Keyboard. Then I saw this. As you can see in the photos, it does its job. Magic keyboard closes and aligns completely with the case on and it provides an extra layer of protection inside the Magic Keyboard and when you take it out to use as a tablet. The pencil secures as well as it does directly to the iPad. One minor complaint is the case is specific to the M2/M3 but it has the larger iPad Pro camera notch instead of the smaller one that the Airs have. It is not a big deal thought because the purpose of this case is to use it with the Magic Keyboard so you don't notice it unless you remove it from the keyboard.

This is exactly the product I was expecting: fitted like a glove, all magnets work perfectly and it protects the parts I was most concerned of. It was a smart purchase.

If you don't move your iPad from place to place, you probably don't need this. Otherwise you risk losing your pencil. Yes, the magnetic connection between the pencil and iPad is pretty strong, but not that strong. After having to dig through my backpack for my pencil a couple of times, I should have figured out that I needed something better to keep the pencil connected to the iPad. One day when I was walking home with just the iPad (and pencil), I noticed that the pencil wasn't attached when I got home. Luckily, I almost tripped over the pencil on my way back to work the next day.

Not really the best. It made the magnet at the top for the pencil really weak and it would fall off a lot. The case just wasn’t the best using the iPad bare feels better than the case.

If 13” iPad Air perfect. Easy to snap in. Feels very secure and protects the iPad well. I used it along with a magic keyboard. It said not to use a screen cover with it but I put one on mine and it works fine.

Great case for using with the apple keyboard. Looks like part of the design and I like that it holds the pencil and is light and low profile. Only downside is that it seems to slightly weaken the magnetic hold of the case. Would recommend for those looking for light protection.

Edit: as you can see from the image, the plastic catch fractured. Also, while it does include brass contacts, after a month of use it seems to lose contact and can’t charge via the keyboard. Lowering to 2 stars because of the fracture and charging issues, which for the price are not acceptable. Original review: I bought this for my new iPad Pro on the recommendation of an Apple Store employee, as I wanted something that would work well with the magic keyboard and the Apple Pencil Pro. This does fit well with the magic keyboard, and I like that it keeps the Apple Pencil Pro much more securely attached. I was losing it everywhere before I got this. My only minor reservation is that the price seems a bit high for what is essentially very thin piece of plastic, but I’m assuming this is because the cost of the production mold was fairly high for what is probably a limited market. Also, it does have brass contacts molded into it so that the iPad and the keyboard are connected, that must add to the cost. And of course, I just spent $2300 on an iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard, so $45 to protect it is a no brainer.

Very sleek and lightweight — fits perfectly on my iPad and works seamlessly with the Magic Keyboard. I love the minimal design and the fact that it protects the back without adding bulk. Great choice if you want to keep your iPad stylish and functional. Highly recommend!
