This is the proffered product for many liquid paint artists. There is an American version, but it has clumps and doesn't work as well for pouring mediums. However it does add cells and lacing in paint pouring. It is over priced in my opinion, but I guess that is because it comes from Australia. I ordered this small amount so I can compare with the more affordable American version. If it is that much better I will invest in a larger bottle, but if not, American Flood will have to do. I am hoping the quality is so much better as to make the price worthwhile.

Yes it works for lacing. When your liquid gets less and less. I personally carefully squeeze it to reduce the air. No matter what anyone tells you flo can and does go bad. So when I buy any in the store I open it and smell.

Incredible for getting cells when mixed with titanium white (Amsterdam paint)! Amazing color quality, container doesn’t leak, and perfect thickness for a great mixture. Smells like typical floetrol, wear gloves because it’s not easy to clean off your hands and gets sticky. Totally great Typical expensive price, but there’s not cheaper out there for this.

I am a fluid artist and was wanting to create pieces of art I have seen demonstrated. I will say this product is expensive and that is only because it is imported from Australia. When I consider how much money I have spent on other products that promise making lacing and cells, I should have just purchased the Australian Floetrol right off the bat. Because with this product I now get great cells, and I am not wasting money on other products that just don't work. If you are looking for great fluid art pieces, Australian Floetrol is the only thing to purchase. I hope this helps!

The product works great but the small, padded envelope it was in got squished. I had to pour the product back into the container. Since this isn't inexpensive, I was a bit irritated that I lost some on the inside of the envelope. This needs to be packed in a properly padded box. Had I not needed it right away, I would have returned it. Otherwise, the Floetrol works perfectly.
