This product was the replacement piece I needed for my Dyson. I was able to get it much more quickly from Amazon than the manufacturer.

These just arrived packed into a box that was about 3/4 in too short and so both filters were bent to fit into the box. The plastic core inside of both filters is bent because of how they were packed. I've put one into the Dyson and it goes in, but the top doesn't fit snugly. I am going to use the machine a few times to see if the bent filter stays in. If not, back they go. Beyond the poor packaging, the filters look exactly like the original, including the design of the gaskets around the top. Looks like they should work, but being bent may throw them off. I'll update this review after trying them out.

So these look like the original filter. However, they are slightly smaller so they don't "snap" into place. They are the tiniest bit loose. If you happen to tilt the vacuum upside-down they will fall right out. However, when the motor is running the filter is sucked in tightly and there is no chance of falling out. So, they work and generally stay in but are not exactly a perfect fit. Also, the filters in our package looked slightly smushed when they arrived but it doesn't interfere. For the price, it's still a good deal.
