Not for me, but good foam.
This foam is good quality foam, it’s convenient that it has the red layer in the middle so you can easily spot a missing tool. There’s not really a whole lot to say about it, it’s just foam. I didn’t end up using it because I prefer to just keep using loose color coded bags inside of a tool case. The foam takes up a lot of space from what could have been more tools put in my case. I would use it for a specific specialty tool, something very expensive that just needs its own case. Like an automotive scan tool tablet. Doesn’t have to be a tool either, it could be a pistol. If you really take your time, you can cut the foam exactly to the shape of whatever it is and the foam will hold that shape. Strong but compliant foam

The layers are thick.
The layers are roughly 1/4-inch thick. Which makes it very hard to contour cutouts to match your tools. Other than that it is a fine product. And, depending on how irregular the items you are trying to organize are, it can work well.

Quality
The quality of the foam is very high and when cut properly holds your item solidly. I used the material in 3 small pelican cases and it looks like th cutouts were manufactured for me. I used a warm straight knife after trying a few methods and it worked wonderfully

My Tools Are Confused, But I Am Happy
My friend "Dave" gave me this black squishy stuff. He said it was for my tools, so they could "sleep in their own little beds." I thought this was very kind, as my tools are often clanking and grumbling in their big metal box. I have no idea how it works, but you just push the tools into the foam and it makes a little bed for them. It is very hard to push them in, but once they are in, they do not move. It is like they are stuck. This makes me happy because I can open the drawer very fast and nothing flies out. Before, the metal things would make a big noise and hit each other. Now they are quiet. It is a good sleep for them. My only concern is the tools. They do not look happy. They look like they are trapped in a black sponge. But they are quiet, and my cave is quiet. So I am happy. It is a very good product. Thank you, Dave

BUY THIS ONE! IVE TRIED OTHERS AND THIS ONE IS BETTER
I've tried a couple Different kinds. this one can be very nice and have crisp lines if you know how to cut. it does peel in layer's pretty easy which makes it look professional. the other kinds don't peel good and have a nice look. the only issue is if you have a really tight fit with pliers and you go to pull them out it will separate the layers. so, buy some foam glue
