Good to stop that winter wind and helps keep that warm heat inside your living area
The insulation was a breeze if fit right up the chimney flute was pretty easy to inflate with the air mattress inflatable. I have had no issues with durability or functionality. I can definitely feel the difference with no draft coming in being that is by my couch. The material seemed of thicker durability. And inflate to the right size to keep a good air seal.

Good quality
Has done a great job stopping the draft in my uncapped fire place. Is deflating some and seems like I will have to reinflate a little more frequently than expected.

Easy to install and remove, great insulation.
seals off my chimney during the hot summers here in Arizona helps reduce my cooling bill, and helps in the winter when I need to keep out the cold, easy to install and remove when I want to use my fireplace for a nice fire. This is my second one I have bought lasted about six years. Worth the price.

Not a good product
Does not work well, still allows drafts past it, have repositioned it multiple times, also don’t hold air like it says, blew it up and went back an hour later and added to it and it still didn’t work right.

Design flaw
The balloon has a short rubber tube that you have to blow into once the balloon is in place inside the chimney flue. For my flue, the rubber tube is too short to reach once the balloon is in place. I ended up awkwardly trying to stick my head up the chimney to reach the tube, but ultimately had to settle for the balloon not going up as high as it should. Results are that it didn't really make a difference in cold air coming into the room.

Make sure you measure your damper
I have fought this chimney for years not able to find a product that would seal the damper from leaking cold air into the den area of our house Every day during winter that room was always 3-4 degrees less than what the heat was on Its now one degree less not attribute to the damper. I did not get a hit from Amazon directly I googeled it and it came up as a new version of the older model Anyway easy to put in the first install looked great but I lost air and the room got cold They specify that this would happan due to contraction direction specifically said to blow it up again So far so good!

Working well
Had no idea this even existed until I had a home energy audit!!! Excellent suggestion for cold air escaping in winter.
