Well, the bugs finally stopped pouring into my house/shop now that it's finally getting colder out but... Covid 19 is unfortunately still in. I don't have it and never had but I think part of that is due to the precautions I take. Wear my mask whenever I leave the house, wash my hands well and often and... sanitize everything once I get back home (from going grocery shopping, etc). Yes yes, call me a germaphobe or whatever but I'm getting older and I'd really rather not get this virus. I also have my loved ones and friends to consider - so if I feel like taking extra precautions that's my prerogative :) Couldn't hurt! Anyway, because I was tired of using Clorox wipes to wipe everything down (wallet, credit cards, cash, keys, etc) every time I got back home - plus Clorox Wipes don't do amazingly well with my fabric wallet and are quite tedious with things like keys - I decided to take a different approach and turn this bug zapper into a sanitizer!... since it uses powerful UV lights :) I knew that UV light kills as much if not more bacteria than soap! So... I got right to work on this little, multi-level sanitizing box (see photos). I knew that it'd need to be reflective - to reflect light in all directions to cover the objects with UV light from every angle - so I took a fire blanket (highly reflective aluminum sheet) and laid it out. Then found a box that would work well, took that apart and laid it flat on the ground. Then I sprayed both the box and one side of the fire blanket with M3 spray glue and quickly stuck the two together - covering one entire side of the box with the fire blanket. After I pressed all of the aluminum fire blanket down onto the one side of the box, I put the box back together. I had some hard cardboard corners from a window AC I had ordered a while back and some plexiglass from another project I had worked on a while. The cardboard corners (after I cut them) worked perfectly for creating little shelves that I could set the plexiglass sheets on. I covered them in aluminum tape (so that they, too, would reflect the UV light) and then first stapled them and then aluminum taped them to the inside of the box (on one side). Then I set the plexiglass sheets onto those shelves and aluminum taped those on as well so they wouldn't slide whenever I moved the box. I repeated this process until I had 3 plexiglass shelves (btw I used plexiglass so the EV light could hit every side of the objects placed in there). Cut a little hold for the cord, aluminum taped the bug zapper to the box and BAM!... I now have a sweet sanitizing box!! Set objects in there for 15 minutes and they're fully sanitized! My researcher/lab worker friend even tested it ath the lab he works at for me! He used these little petri dishes and tested several little objects (that he had applied some kind of bacteria to) that had sat in there for 15 minutes and sure enough - he found less bacteria than some other objects he had cleaned with Clorox wipes and another set he had cleaned with soap. He already thought it would work though since they have a UV cleaner at his work as well. But hey, awesome that I was able to confirm that it does work :) Anyway maybe this can come in handy for someone else out there that needs to clean or sanitize objects! Hope it's helpful to someone out there!

The day we turned it on the kids forgot the screen open and we could hear the flies hitting it. Got 8 in a few hours. No more mosquitos and flies in the house!

Cumple con lo especificado, lo recomiendo. Lo que no me agrado es el tiempo que tardo en llegar ,casi un mes.
