I have been using this item since 2015 I did not have any issue as of now. You need to properly place them that's the key for proper working Identify the suitable place around 6.30 PM when the sunlight drops My parking LED rights are connected to this and it is working like a charm. I have placed the sensor near my EB Board which is near to my stair case. This is ideal place as the sunlight enters in the morning and during sun setting this place becomes dark enough to activate the sensor Pros Value for Money Have been working more than 1.5 Years in my experience Cons I don't see any cons as of now I would highly recommend this product. I have seen some negative reviews about this product but in my opinion this could be due to manufacturing defect or wrong placement.

I wanted this because even if I was out of station, my outdoor light will automatically turn on at night. It worked beautifully, only issue was the light blinked a few times at the time of Twilight, it is natural for the sensor to do that, I understand. But after 3 months, whole working, I heard a blast sound and it stopped working. It didn't get wet because it was installed at a safe place where the light would reach, but not the water or rain. So I guess it's cheap assembly. Now looking for other good brands. Not worth it!

Bought six months back through Amazon,working perfectly fine till now.Initially I thought it's a substandard product by its physical appearance,but has made my intial thought false.Was very easy to instal.I installed it in a closed box with a glass.I have used this with 110 watt CFL street light,working well,no problem as of now.This is the cheapest light sensor available.Initially I had purchased light timer switches for this purpose from Kamath & Nayak BVK Iyengar Road for a price of Rs 750,but those didn't last even 3 months.But this product senses light well and switches of in the morning and switches on in the evening perfectly.

It’s a good product in this range , I have ordered it second time, it’s not water proof. As we have to fix it outdoor , it would have water proof then it will be one more extra feature.

I have been using this product for a few years now, it lasts around 2 years and needs replacement thereafter. It does not come with connectors anymore as in picture. Also lately I have found that the light come up during day light too when it gets cloudy, also it starts early in the evenings and turns off late in the morning. But still a better product then other available in the market.

The first thing that worried me is the amount of feedback on light flickering. But then I also realized that there is a equal number of people who have used and loved it, so I trusted myself and placed the order. Order came in neatly packed. And I immediately setup the connections and switched it on. Bam, the light starts going on and off, continually. Dissapointed, I put my hand over the sensor and try and understand the issue, and the problem becomes very clear. If the bulb that this device is switching on is right above the device, the sensor goes crazy. It sees darkness, switches light on. But the light is so bright that the device now thinks it is daytime and switches it off immediately. This cycle continues for ever. All you need to do is to change the angle of the sensor slightly so that the bulb it switches on is not hitting the sensor directly. And it starts working beautifully. Its been a few weeks now and the product works flawless. Just trust yourself and get it, the reviews on flickering are because folks have no idea how to mount it properly.

Good to assembly

The product was easy to install and worked efficiently. However, the working life of this product is too low. I used it for a LED Bulb that was switched on at night and the same was to be switched off in morning. Later in the Morning, the power button was manually switched off. Was working since December 2021. But just after a month of operation, the device stopped working automatically. Not worth the time and money.
