If you have animals, this is the way to go. I love this stuff and it eliminated all odors. It works well and doesn't leave the carpet feeling sticky. The carpet is clean and soft. I will always keep this on hand.

I purchased this to take care of a pet urine smell on our carpeted step. This spot gets hit regularly by our dog and only is noticeable after a few soakings. I have tried a few different carpet cleaning chemicals including pretreatment and the urine smell is still there. I decided to give this product a shot and wow I was not expecting it to be so fragrant. It could be overwhelming for people who are sensitive to scents but this stuff made the whole house smell like Febreze. I only applied it to a small section a few times as I keep washing until the fluid runs mostly clear then follow up with clean water until that runs clear. I didn't really notice it at first but I walked outside to get something then came back in the house and the smell was so nice. I was a good 20 feet away from where I applied it and it greeted me at the front door. I must have been desensitized to it while washing the carpet but going outside then coming back in I smelled it instantly. I would definitely recommend if you are trying to clean and deodorize the carpet because this does mask smells nicely. Now that is where I need to be specific. This did work well in removing the majority of the smell directly from the carpet where it was not detectable even a few feet away but when I get right next to the soiled carpet, about 6 inches, the smell is there but not in the amount it was before the washing. I do think there is a better method for getting the smell out but it likely involves pretreatment, washing and drying. I do think this is a great product for not only getting the carpet clean but leaves a nice scent for 24 hours at least. Perfect for those trying to sell a home or who are expecting visitors and want to leave a nice scent in the air. I would advise against those who have scent sensitivity to use this product as it is very prevalent.

This stuff is amazing!!!! I have two female Sphynx’s that were having a territorial war in my office and I was about ready to rip the carpet out because of it. I did two separate cleanings with this in my Bissell Turbo Clean PetXL Upright and wow, just wow! The carpets look amazing and smell amazing! I’m honestly shocked by how quickly and effectively it was in removing stains and scents - The carpet looks new! I used quite a bit of solution because of the saturation I needed given the situation, but I definitely feel like the quantity and the price were very reasonable.

I use this product with the Bissell Big Green professional carpet cleaner with Xl dirt lifter brush and thre results are amazing. The solution is made for upright cleaners. Pet stains are removed with ease and efficiency. Bissell’s StainProtect protects carpet from future stains. The concentrated formula lifts the stains from the carpet, neutralizes odor leaving it clean and smelling fresh. The Fabreze scent is wonderful and the carpet is left so soft and fluffy. If you pretreat with a little of the formula on a stubborn stain it lifts it right out. Works best if you vacuum before shampooing to remove pet hair and protect your shampooer. I also vacuum afterwards when carpet has thoroughly dried. The hose attachment works great on stairs, furniture and stubborn stains. Spot test on furniture first. Every purchase saves pets which is very important to me. Bissell is a company that cares and deserves to be supported in this cause.

Works well with the carpet shampooer. Smells nice. Unfortunately, without enzymes the dogs return to repeat offend.
