Orient Bambino Version 7 Small Seconds 38.4mm Automatic/Hand-Winding Dress Watch

This is my first Orient watches, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I have a very modest watch collection with my best being some Omegas. I certainly wasn't expecting Omega quality from Orient. First impression: This is a BEAUTIFUL watch. It feels good and solid, with a great finish on all parts, and an excellent dial and crystal. It could easily be confused with much more expensive watches. The watch has some actual wight to it, which is very nice. The movement, which can be seen through the back, is not as well finished as higher end watches, but looks well built and sounds good, but not great. It sounds like a workhorse watch, which is perfect at this price. The faux leather band looks good, but feels a bit stiff and rugged, and looks a tiny bit as though it was made under a budget. That being said, I am sure it will wear well. The only true "fault" I found was when I wound it manually. The winding mechanism feels stiff and not as smooth as many of my other watches, including some at this price. Since you will rarely wind it (automatic), most people won't notice or care. One point I particularly liked was the box it came in. It made no pretenses about being a high end, luxury box. It was reminiscent of a mid-century box a watch like this would have come in back in the day. I like that they saved the money, but still did a decent presentation. All things being said, based on this unboxing, I would highly recommend this watch. Other reviews indicate these watches do well over time, so I expect no surprises. This watch is super nice, perfect.

The watch is pure elegance and stunning. The master craft and quality is same as any great high brand watch. The size is just perfect for any guy who's slender with a good taste. I personally don't like big watches or bulky. I work in a office and I like to dress with a watch according to my taste and my job. The band is pure leather and soft flexible to handle because the quality of the leather plus also looks great with the watch given more sophistication to the watch itself. It runs perfectly without any issues but must keep it moving or it will stop. Perhaps a little annoying to keep setting everything over again but I don't mind because I like to switch watches.

This is a fabulous designed watch with quality parts at a great price point. I am a watch guy with over 50 timepieces , and Orients selection is top of the charts.

Beautiful watch. I would suggest getting a dark smooth chocolate brown. Looks way better with it. Other than that amazing watch !!

Beautiful watch with a classic sophisticated look. The band squeaks. Hopefully it will stop when broken in. Shipping was slower than expected. Overall I’m satisfied

What a great watch! I bought the black dial version, and at this price point I think it's a perfect dress watch that can also double as a dressy/casual piece. The 38mm size fits comfortably on my 7" wrist, and I really like the dark blue seconds hand mounted in the contrasting small silver dial. The Orient name below the small logo at twelve o'clock balances out the seconds hand dial, and the small date window is a subtle addition. Bottom line? If you want an affordable automatic movement timepiece ,and you like how this looks . . . buy it! Well done Orient!
