Wasn't sure at first, now I don't want to go anywhere without it.
I've been using various types of pillows of various thickness and firmness and it has been extremely hard to find the right one. For years, I've gone through many different pillows, most end up causing some sort of ache by the end of the night. I got this pillow based on the reviews, knowing however that not everyone likes the same pillow. This is the first pillow of this type I've purchased with the specific intent to improve my posture while I sleep and hopefully improve the quality of my rest. I am a side and back sleeper, and find myself shifting MANY times from side to side, to my back all through the night. I got this pillow, and after using it for a few minutes I began to feel an ache in my neck. I thought maybe it was too hard...figured maybe if I slept on it all night long, I would regret it with a crook in the neck for days, so after only those few minutes I bailed on it and put my regular setup of pillows. Disappointed that perhaps I'd have to return it. The next night, I decided to try it again, but decided to intentionally go a little longer. I probably used it for maybe 30 minutes this time, before I felt like an ache was beginning to develop in my neck or shoulders. I bailed on it again, and went with my usual setup. Determined to give it a fair shake, but not wanting to cause a lot of pain because of it, I decided to try again the third night and essentially figured I'd increasingly add more time each night. Well, I must of been really tired, or something in my posture clicked because the next think I remember, I was waking up in the morning having felt quite rested. I slept on the pillow all night long, with no aches whatsoever. Since that third night, I have slept ONLY on this pillow and while I haven't yet had it for a month, I find that I shift MUCH less than before. And because the pillow maintains its support all night, I do not wake several times to readjust my old pillow setup for better support throughout the nights. I feel like my deep sleep cycles last longer. I'll update again later if things change but for now I'd encourage you to give it a fair shake. If you've been sleeping on something else that holds your neck differently, you may need to work yourself into this in stages like me. I love that both ends of the pillow have a bit of a higher contour than the center in order to hold your spine straight while on my sides. I can definitely feel the difference in the better support throughout the night. And while I might have thought it was too firm initially, it is just right. And while I might have felt like it wasn't high enough, I realize now it is just the right height. If there is any disadvantage with this pillow, the only thing I can say is that I'm used to having the soft cool feel of my pillows up around my checks while resting/sleeping and this does not provide that, but the advantages seem to far outweigh this and I suspect in time I'll get used to this new feel and not miss the old setup in any way.

No more neck pain!!! Buy it you'll love it!!!
Today is 5/16/25 and my pillow came yesterday 5/15/. I'm happy with my new pillow. I've been having problems the last few months with a pinched nerve in my neck where the pain would radiate in my chest because of poor posture and bad pillows. I would stuff two pillows under my head that were no good and that added to the pain. After scrolling here on Amazon for pillows that support head and neck then reading reviews I finally landed on this pillow. There were a few negative reviews but honestly sometimes a not so good product slips by. Where I was sold was when I watched a young gentleman demonstrate a couple of these pillows. I figured I'll take a chance even though another gentleman was disappointed and tossed the pillow on the floor. I thought to myself I'll still take a chance. I'm glad I did! I bought the queen size one but I should've bought the standard but onward, the pillow was easy to use and there was no smell to it. After about 45 minutes the pillow fluffed up. It's firm but soft if that makes sense? It cradled my head and supported my neck. The shape is great and very comfortable and a great fit. While lying on it for a couple of hours my neck pain started to subside and when I fell asleep I slept the whole night. Upon waking this morning my neck pain is gone! It's worth the investment! Plus it is easy to wash just follow the instructions. This is my favorite pillow I love the shape and design! Truly awesome!

Good choice if you suffer from sleep related neck pain and headaches.
I ordered an EPABO pillow based on the advice of a friend who loves hers. Initially, I thought I was going to have to return it. It was hard, not comfortable and hurt, rather than helped my neck pain. Instructions came with the pillow, "if you sleep on your side do this, if you sleep on your back...but I thought they were confusing. With that said, the company made it clear they were available to help in any way and to contact them with questions. Anyway, part of the instructions recommended removing an inner padded piece inside the pillow if the pillow was too firm and if that didn't work, contact the company and they would send a softer version of the pillow. I removed the inside piece and it made all the difference. For the most part, using the pillow helps me get a better night's sleep and I wake-up with minimal to no neck pain and no headaches. After some trial and error, it has worked out well for me. Thank You EPABO!

Not firm enough for side sleepers
I'm reviewing the top two cervical neck pillows on Amazon. EPABO Contour Memory Foam Pillow... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KVW8PTP VS. Elviros Cervical Memory Foam... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0833V68BJ. Some background. I'm a 5'10" woman. I am mainly a side sleeper that needs to fall alseep on my back. I have a long neck 7" from ear to shoulder and 7" from nape of neck to ball of shoulder. I have a slipping disk between my C-7 and T-1 from a previous injury. This presses on my C8 nerve and causes numbness when sleeping in the wrong neck position. I had the epavo contour pillow for two years. It features a removable panel in the bottom if the neck sits too high. I did remove this panel as it tilted my head up when sleeping. Unfortunately, this pillow was always a bit low for my side sleeping, as my head angled down. The foam is pretty weak, it collapses instantly with any weight. This pillow is good for small petite necks/shoulders. Personally, this pillow only helped my neck pain by 30%. I recently obtained the elviros cervical pillow. It features a taller profile and wings for side sleepers. I ordered the queen for a taller pillow. The foam is quite firm. I had my husband evaluate my neck angle. My head was straight when on my back, but the sides were still a bit to shallow for my shoulders, but I solved this by adding some extra foam from another pillow and now I am in love! I would say this pillow is more for medium sized shoulder/neck. Right now, it is helping my neck pain by 70%. If the foam of elviros softens over time, I might try another taller pillow like Nature's Guest Adjustable Cervical Orthopedic Pillow https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CYBZXY6. Good luck in your pillow search!

The right height, and soft
I tried a different, far more expensive pillow of this type with “wings”. It felt like sleeping on a brick and was too high under my neck. This pillow is perfect. I haven’t needed to adjust it, and the softness is just right while still being supportive. If it breaks down after a while due to its softness, I won’t mind spending the money to buy another one. Being able to use it is what’s important.

Can work for smaller-framed people!
My head is small and not very heavy and my shoulder and neck areas are also smaller so most of these pillows don't work for me. I bought this one specifically because it says you can remove foam and adjust it. I tried several positions but would always sleep poorly and wake up hurting. Finally, I removed the foam block from the back per instructions, and I turned the pillow upside down. This way, your head falls into the space left that's when you remove the block of foam. This was actually still a little high for my neck, so I turned the pillow around , and i'm sleeping on the back, still upside down I sleep well all night and ke up with no neck pain and no headache. The picture shows the pillow after you've taken it out of the zippered case and the inner cover and removed the foam.

Poor Quality, Loses Shape, Poor Customer Service...and Expensive. Avoid.
This is an unbiased review, not part of the Amazon Vine program and not paid for by Epabo. Having experienced back and neck pain, I decided to change my pillow in hopes of alleviating my discomfort. After extensive research, I came upon the EPABO Contour Memory Foam Pillow Orthopedic Sleeping Pillow on Amazon. It has many five star reviews with individual's touting the support, firmness and how it help provide relief from both back and neck pain. Having used the pillow for an extended period, I can tell you that I believe the majority of those reviews are fake and the results are false. The pillow is made from very, very cheap "memory" foam, which lost its vitality after only a few weeks of use (see attached pictures). It does come with the contour depicted in the pictures, but after only slight use, the pillow "deflated" and is now half the size as it was when I opened the box. Worse, is that not only did it not provide back and/or neck pain relief, it actually made my discomfort worse. It didn't matter whether I was on my back or side, the pillow would lose it's shape and flatten, resulting in zero support for my head. In a matter of minutes, my neck would only be an inch off my mattress. Picture a pillow that turns into a cowpie. Thus, the EPABO Contour Memory Foam Orthopedic Sleeping Pillow is not only poor quality and doesn't alleviate pain, but they don't back up their product like they claim with their "100% Worry Free - Satisfaction Guarantee." Furthermore, upon inspecting the foam inside the case, which you can see from the pictures, it’s the lowest quality imaginable, making me concerned for my health. I would recommend avoiding this unctuous company and their products at all costs. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= EPABO sent me an email after my purchase following up on my purchase. I responded after I gave the pillow ample opportunity to prove itself that it was unsatisfactory. A company representative named "Snow" responded: "Is it not enough firm for you now ?" I responded: "Unfortunately, the pillow is completely unsatisfactory. I can no longer use it. Waiting for your reply." Update1: EPABO’s responded after several days that they would provide me with a 30% refund. Update2: EPABO told me that: "we promise that wont be harmful for people's health." Really? You promise?? Considering you don't honor your "100% Worry Free - Satisfaction Guarantee" - do you actually think I can believe your "promise" or any other deceptive claim you make? You know what? I rather trust the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in regards to low-quality memory foam, such as yours: "Memory foam is known to release gaseous chemicals called volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Health effects associated with VOCs range from eye, nose and throat irritation to headaches and organ damage, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Some VOCs, including benzene, acetaldehyde and formaldehyde, have been associated with increased cancer risk."

If you have neck issues and other types of pillows haven't worked you need to try this pillow. I don't wake up with a stiff neck and pain in my neck and shoulders.
