I love these
I use these for my weekly meal preps and they do NOT disappoint. Super sturdy (no flimsy plastic), perfect portions for protein, rice, veggies, and they actually close tight so no leaks. I prep multiple meals at once and these keep everything fresh and organized. Definitely a must if you meal prep or even just want your food to stay looking good 👌🏽

A Necessary Tool for Meal Prep
So, this is what I’ve learned. Wordsmith a new name for a concept that already exists (with a perfectly appropriate name already) and it’s as if the activity is new as well. So, what has set me off? “Meal Prep”. It’s as though before 2024, no one – EVER – had thought of cutting carrots, onions and celery and storing them in the refrigerator to use - as needed - for the week. Or, no one – EVER – thought of making twice as much braised chicken, meatballs or lentils and freezing the extra for future use. Sigh. Up until now, however, packing meal-prep items was more challenging. Everybody recycles Chinese takeout food containers and generic CoolWhip bowls. The corresponding lids end up in purgatory, along with socks from the dryer. While that is probably still a problem, with this set, you can afford to lose a lid or two. Because, you have 50 of them. Use them for baked casseroles (baked ziti, enchiladas, meatball stroganoff). Use them for sliced fresh veggies and fruits. You know that you’re supposed to prep the produce the minute you bring it home. With these containers, you now have the perfect vessel to contain your farmer’s market haul (and they’re stackable – even on their side). I got the 24-ounce containers (50 containers and lids for $25.99). In our family, that holds enough for three servings. One reason why this is so explicitly labelled for meal prep is, these containers are leakproof, freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. I have the worst luck with my lunch leaking all over the inside of my bag. Hasn’t happened yet. And, that’s part of the appeal of meal prep – you can literally remove the frozen lasagna (from a double batch you made on the weekend) container from the freezer, right to the microwave and then to the dishwasher. The container doesn’t melt in the microwave or discolor/shrink in the dishwasher. Look, I like the idea of Blue Apron as much as anyone. But, dang, are those pricey! Yes, I’d love to be able to just throw a few included items together and have dinner ready in 30 minutes. Now I can. Since dinner’s already done.

Top arrived cracked but otherwise good product
Edit: Changing to five star. Seller reached out to correct issue. Very happy. Will likely buy again. First order was pretty good. Decided to upgrade to 32 oz. Few of the tops came cracked. Rest work just fine but keep in mind you might have less than 50 on arrival

Good value, extremely tight seal, but material is fragile and cracks under repeated use.
Very low-cost container with helpful and practical size, and very tight sealing lid. Material is thin, so while it is microwave safe, I usually line with parchment paper before placing in hot items, or those to be heated, to avoid contamination by any plastics. The lid, which seals very tightly, can be a little effort to remove once sealed, so do not overfill. Material durability is acceptable, but the plastic lid is prone to cracking and splitting, especially with repeated use. Several lids had crack lines upon receipt, but still functioned fine for dry goods. Food in all containers remained very well sealed and air tight. A good value for the price, but clearly not of higher tier quality if looking to represent a premium quality service/establishment.

Perfect cost for meal prep.
We used these for meal prep in the ealry postpartum days. Really helped keep food fresh from the freezer. They aren't durable after freezing. But perfect for the cost.

My new 'disposable tupperware'
Honestly, I got sick of buying tupperware where I'd lose the lid or find a lid and lose the container. When I saw something about meal prep and I thought these would be the perfect idea. Smaller so I can just use what I need for, basically, meal prep using leftovers. Super handy, especially for those late-night cravings where you heat up all the leftovers just for a little bit. Best of all, if I forget about it in the fridge for a month and randomly discover it, I can just toss the entire thing instead of the old 'throw out the food, deep clean the tupperwear' - the entire container, straight in the trash. These are machine washable, or you can just throw them away when you're done and grab a new one. Super handy.

Lids were broken! Hazardous! UPDATE!
***UPDATE:*** Seller reached out to me and completely resolved this issue! No, I was not asked to change my review, however, I firmly believe in acknowledging someone when they reach out in good faith to correct a problem. I thank the seller very much for standing behind their product! VERY disappointed! Several of the lids were broken and pieces of plastic fell out when I opened the wrap. The lids were thin plastic and very brittle and many of them were unusable. Pieces of plastic could easily fall in your food when you try to snap the lid on. I'll have to use plastic wrap to cover the dish. For safety reasons, I cannot recommend!

Decent product, but a little flimsy
I ordered these to do some baby meal prep before April. I find the bottom part holds up fairly well to reuse, but the lids are very flimsy and break very easily. It's not a big deal since I don't need to reuse all 50 BUT it would be better if they weren't so fragile.
