Replacement straws? where can i get just the straws and not another cup? we love the cup, but it’s clear we need additional straws.

Are these version 2 or the original version? I thought any with “matte lids” were version 2, but the ones I ordered didn’t have the o-ring pull tab?

The b.box Sippy Cup sold by b.box for kids on Amazon.com are the "new" b.box sippy cup with matte lids, however the new version no longer has the o-ring pull tab. However, it is still easy to remove the o-ring for cleaning by simply running the back of a spoon (or similar) around the edge of the o-ring so that it lifts up. When washed and completely dry, you can place the o-ring back in place and secure by running your finger around the ring. Our original b.box sippy cup had a gloss lid and o-ring pull tab. How is this cup compared to the munchkin straw cup? Better quality?

Thanks for your question! Yes, better quality in a sense that it's leak-proof even with warm liquids and our easy grip handles were designed for little hands and encourage independent drinking.

Can I place this cup in a bottle warmer or the microwave to warm up milk?

Dear L.M., Thank you for your enquiry regarding our b.box Sippy Cup. We do not recommend serving hot liquids to your child in the sippy cup, as the warm liquid could cause a build up of pressure in the straw which may cause the straw to leak. However, the sippy cup plastic cup base is microwave safe and you can place it directly into the microwave to warm milk or other liquids. Do not microwave the sippy cup lid with the straw as they are not microwave safe, and the weighted ball contains metal. Please ensure you test the temperature of the liquid prior to giving to your child. As a guide, to warm milk, place 6oz of liquid in the sippy cup base and microwave for approximately 20 seconds.
