This is yummy. Price is good. It DOES have sugar - a tablespoon has eight grams of sugar. I would prefer that they thicken it with glycerin but it's still a good product and to add vanilla taste only requires a teaspoon.

My vanilla paste finally arrived!! It was sealed good, no damage or leakage. I really like this vanilla bean paste, the flavor and thickness is great. It took my cookies to another level, the vanilla came through really well and you could smell and taste the vanilla.

Same consistency and flavor as hair gel. At least what I imagine hair gel to taste like. Seriously, the “paste” component is a weird translucent suspension fluid that small brown flecks are suspended in. It tastes like some strange chemical….and the vanilla flavor is nearly non existent. We baked some vanilla bean custard croissants and had to add so much additional vanilla paste just to try and get any vanilla flavor at all. It completely changed the consistency of the recipe….and still had zero vanilla flavor. I fancy myself a pretty decent cook and baker and simply had never seen vanilla paste before and thought it just had never crossed my path before and I was in for a super concentrated vanilla experience. I’m going back to tried and trusted 100% pure, alcohol free organic extract. Now what to do with this bottle….I guess it’s going to end up down the drain, it’s literally that bad. Sorry to bash a product so heavily, not my style

Worth the money others like it was very expensive. Vanilla Patse has a richer flavor than regular vanilla flavoring

I was very disappointed with this product. I had previously bought Martha Stewart brand which is very sweet and syrupy. It’s quite good. However I was looking for a larger size (I could only find hers in a 4 oz jar). This product seemed like more bang for my buck since I was paying 19.99 for a 4 oz jar and this was 32 oz. This product is almost in a jellied form and kind of floats on top of liquid when you pour it in. I use to add vanilla flavor to coffee and soft drinks. This wasn’t suitable at all for that purpose. Frankly I found it sort of disgusting. The flavor was ok but again not on same level as the MS brand at all. I won’t buy it again.
