Pros - seem to work pretty quickly - flavours not bad Cons - there is a taste of 'medicine' or something while chewing, it's not like it's a sweet but that's probably a good thing rather than a con! - after taste reminds me of something similar to chewable sweets but a bit 'extra' So I do think these work. At least for me personally. I'm always sceptical when it comes to these things. I always go in with a mindset of 'this aint gunna work' or something just to try and pre-emptively strike any preconceived notions I might subconsciously convince myself of. So when I started chewing these, it reminds me of chalk sweets at first. Slightly sweet (I have a sweet tooth though) chaulky texture. Then you start to get a taste of something that doesn't taste too nice. Then it starts to meld together a little bit. Then after I swallow it. A matter of seconds later I felt the right side of my brain tingle... It's never the right side. It just feels like that part of my brain has gone into overdrive. Not long afterwards I felt a surge of energy and my slightly sleepy persona was now a 'Ooo maybe I'll rearrange the cupboard' persona. It's not over the top so if you're expecting miracles, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. But I do feel like I should now probably get on with more chores since it's after 2pm and there's potential I have a crash when the glucose is gone. If it is glucose. Always sceptical but seems to be doing something at least! Probably 10 minutes later I can feel my body setting into a more relaxed state. The heavy eyes are a little more apparent but the energy levels and the brain activity seem to still be there. Although I did have a few whiskeys and a late one last night.. The right side still seems to be more active than the left side of my brain though. I can see these being great for hikes and walks or if you just need a boost for a slouchy moment. Whether they work for you might be subjective, but for me personally I think they work. Although my levels for nutrients and brain chemicals are all over as I tend to deal with depression and things quite often. So I might be a bit skewed towards the 'already lacking' side of things.
