YETI Hopper Flip 8 Portable Soft Cooler

This Yeti Hopper Flip 8 cooler is everything it is advertised to be and more. Yeti coolers are know for well made and very functional coolers and this cooler is no exception. I use this cooler this weekend to at a youth track meet that grand son and grand daughter participated in this weekend. Track meets are littler ally and all day affair, so you gotta bring provisions. I have a RTIC re-Freezable ice pack that fits this pack well and kept our drinks, fruit and a small bag of ice cubes cold for the duration of the track meet. I was pretty impressed with the fact that my ice cubes only melted minimally after about 6 hours of us opening a closing the cooler many times. In fact my bananas and oranges partially froze and a couple of my little 8oz water bottles had some ice develop too. I guess I will have to come up with a better packing strategy for the fruit though. This cooler is a well constructed with a easy zipper, has durable fabric, it's lead resistant and will last years. I bought this for the size though. I needed something a bit smaller and more convenient than my full-sized cooler that I got tired of lugging around at such events. Well this cool is the perfect solution. The price is a little high, but this is a quality piece that will be in the family for years. It's a great buy.

I love this color. I was skeptical so I tested against 2 other "Big Name" small size coolers" I have, and it kept cold better than both. I thought it would be to heavy or large but actually the perfect size for one or two people . Shoulder strap is super comfortable and quality seems top notch.

This is a great little cooler. And I just love the color. The zipper is a little tights but it is an insulated cooler so that is a good thing.

Great size for a day on the paddle board or to take on a long hike. It fits 8 cans or 4-6 cans plus ice and snacks. It also fits nicely in the largest version too, so storage in a small space is perfect!

Great cooler. A little expensive but well worth it. Plenty of room for food and cold packs. Like the color and design.

Well built, very sturdy cooler! I did think (especially for the price) it would be a little bit larger, though. But it works fine as a lunch cooler! The color is BEAUTIFUL and my lunch stays COLD, ALL DAY, which is a huge improvement from my previous cooler. The zipper takes some getting used to because it’s very difficult to open or close easily. I’m sure this is why things stay so cold and that it is totally waterproof as well. Overall, it’s a Great cooler, just very expensive so definitely “save up” and “justify the necessity” of truly needing a new cooler before purchasing.

Just as described, very satisfied with this purchase. Perfect lunchbox for long hours or outside jobs, or both!

I have been using this every day as a lunch kit and it is the best one I have ever had durable and leak proof. Easy to clean and keeps things cold a long time. Was expensive but I feel like it will last me forever. Would recomend.

Works so much better than my previous low budget cooler. Zipper is a bit tight but that'll wear in with a bit of use over time. Put in 6 beers mid after noon [30C] along with a ice pack and next day lunchtime the ice pack was still frozen and beers crispy cold. The bright yellow colour makes it easy to distinguish from others at the party/BBQ. Great product and what I expected from YETI.
