This is money well spent. I have been using these in hand drills on things like drilling out hundreds of rivets on a bus, to drilling out extremely hard and brittle bolts in a turbo, to drilling holes to tap in mild steel. Nothing can touch them! My new Drill Doctor might be collecting dust here soon from the look of things. Word of caution- Do not go using these in a drill press or machine like that! These bits will bite HARD! They won't break in a hand drill, because they have your wrists as mechanical fuses, but I could see bits getting smoked in a press.

I was looking for a great set of bits especially for metal and these were great. First time I used them for metal went way faster than expected and almost went too far and damaged hoses, so be careful they work great!

This is the second set of Walter bits I have, the only difference being the container. I dislike the plastic holder because the small bit fall through into the base and you have to take it apart to retrieve them. Good idea but poor design.

These twist drills are fantastic but the orange plastic register is crap. I opened it up and first thought two drills were missing. I then disassembled the orange register/case and found they fell through their holes and were deep inside the cup. Happened again when I was putting them all back in. I’ll GM have to modify the case so the smaller drills don’t fall through the holes all the way. For the money and the brand name, I’m a bit shocked at the low quality, janky drill register.
