iSpring GA1-B 6.5"x11" 14oz Solid Brass Heavy Duty Water Filter Designer Faucet, Fits Most Reverse Osmosis Units - EU Style High-Spout, Luxury Chrome

After spending a considerable time looking at drinking water taps, I decided to go for the iSpring GA1-BN on the basis that it looked to be a high quality product with mostly good reviews on Amazon. I have to admit that the tap that arrived was slightly disappointing and did not feel particularly solid. When I fitted the tap, I found that the main body of the tap had a tendency to rotate on the flat front plate that covered the hole in the sink. After a couple of attempts to tighten the tap to present rotation, I ended up removing it to diagnose the issue only to find that the o-ring in the base of the main body of the tap was recessed below the metal – in other words the o-ring was pointless. I then wasted a couple of hours trying to pack out behind the o-ring to see if I could fit this problem and while this helped, I was not especially pleased with the result. You may be asking why I have given this product a 5* rating given what I have said…. When I when to register the warranty, I decided to mention the o-ring problem to the company. They responded within 24 hours and arranged to send a replacement tap direct from the US. The customer service that I received from Sean at iSpring was amazing and the replacement tap arrived within a few days. The build quality of the replacement tap is so much better than the original. The two taps are similar in general style, but close inspection soon shows that the two products were very different. One easy way to see if you have the new version is that the new version DOES NOT have an o-ring. You can also tell as the replacement tap body weights a hefty 570g compared to the original that was just 350g. Looking at the images on the Amazon website, it is clear that the replacement tap is the one portrayed in the images. Hence, I can only assume that the original one sent to me was an older and much cheaper model that has now been surpassed by the newer and far superior one. I can highly recommend the tap that I now have fitted, the build quality feels solid, the tap looks lovely, the flow rate is excellent (despite only being feed by ¼” diameter tube) and the customer service from iSpring has been amazing.

Great quality with good instructions ( video) and parts. Easy to install took minutes and very solid washer system to lock in place . Quick push connectors are so easy to install I hope don’t pop off in time!

This is a really nice drinking water tap. I fitted it due to having a water softener fitted on my main system and it was recommended to have an unsoftened drinking tap. It was placed on the corner of my sink rather than through my worktop and didn’t use the bottom of the tap as it was too big. I just used the washer straight onto the sink. The flow rate is fantastic and I placed a fridge water filter in the connecting pipe. It has been about 6 months since it was fitted and it still looks and works great. My only complaint is the tap rotation is getting slightly tighter but only slightly.

Very impressed with the quality. Hope it lives up to the expectation for long time, have been using it for 2 months now. The product comes with 2 different size adapters, 1/4" as well as 3/8" tubing fittings for water filter tube pipes, but this info was not originally advertised. The customer care team is prompt and responds on queries within 24 hrs, Francis did a fabulous job in addressing all my queries. I am glad that I ordered this product, despite the market flooded with loada of costly products much higher priced, this one does the job impressively at a competitive price. The installation was easy and straightforward, the instructions came is very helpful.

This as a feel of quality about it and came with fittings to suit different pipe sizes and clear instructions on fitting very pleased it also as good water flow and stops good with no dripping .just gotta get my splash back on walls sorted now👍

Have bought several taps previously for filtered water but decide to spend a littleore this time. I was not disappointed since this tap is of excellent quality and a breeze to fit. The only problem was trying to register for the 3 year warranty. However an email to Sean quickly resolved the problem. Overall a solid purchase which should give many years of service.

Got this to replace our old leaky one, looks a lot more sturdy

Me cambiaron el abasto de agua en el municipio y el agua empezó a llegarme muy salobre, de tal manera que el filtro que tenía (era un coreano que no recuerdo la marca, bueno) ya no le quitaba los sólidos disueltos y sales de manera efectiva (lo mido con unos aparatos de pH y conductividad que compré aquí en Amazon). Así que instalé un filtro de ósmosis inversa debajo de mi tarja de cocina. Ese filtro traía por el precio una llave horrorosa de dos pesos, a mi esposa (ni a mi) no nos gustó. Así que busqué otra opción y ésta tiene buena calidad y relación costo/beneficio. Es igual, se instala en la cocina y por ella ahora me surto del agua potable del filtro de ósmosis. El acabado es opaco, bruñido, el diseño es funcional y muy práctico.

Was impressed with the faucet when we first received it. It felt solid, looked good, and was a good match for our regular faucet, it almost looked like a matched set. Installation was easy and the faucet has functioned well since we bought it. We are in Socal and the water quality is not the best so there have been mineral deposits that have formed. We try to stay on top of removing the build up but it is a losing battle. I reached out to customer support to ask if they had instructions on how to take off the handle so I could clean off the mineral deposits. I was disappointed when they told me that it was a one piece unit and that the handle could not be removed. I was then amazed when they said they would replace the unit, even though we had it for 5 years. Talk about awesome customer service! I have installed a similar set up at my mother's place and we both are very happy with the items. Great quality, great looks and great customer service!

The tap works good after installation. Nice finish. Operation and flow good. The arc of the output spout in a good position for most of my needs. The installation was okay but it wasn't as easy as how they show it. I found that if I tried to screw down from the top it would twist up the tubing underneath. As you have to attach tubing as you put it in. So used the nut underneath method but hard to get tight so had to turn the tap one complete turn to get it tight from the top which put some twisting on the tubing anyway. But once down in place it stays tight. Feels like it will last a long time.
