Love the scan tool so far I have scanned 3 cars at work that our snap-on scan tool couldn’t read. Yes wham you first get it you have a bunch of updates to complete and will take awhile but you will get that with any scan tool. Topdon does really good with putting out new updates and bug fixes quite regularly as well

I've been on the hunt for a scan tool for awhile that is easy to use, has special functions, and is bidirectional. This one has it all and under a thousand. Your not locked into one make of vehicle like some smart phone versions. It allows you to scan all modules for trouble codes command certain functions for testing, and perform module resets or procedures for easy repair or service.

Good product. Works as expected.

Excellent to have if you do your own fixing

This product mandates you to have Wi-Fi. This also mandates that you create an account before you can use it with top don. If you’re in a remote area and you do not possess Wi-Fi, I would not recommend getting this product. I understand all the reasons why they would say you would need it, but this is not a standalone unit that will work out of the box without giving up privacy and your location along with the extra hassle of setting up some account for them to track and scrape your data. I believe it should be better explained in the advertisement that these mandatory requirements of connecting to the Internet and creating an account should be communicated first out front not hidden in the background. For someone that is trying to work on someone’s vehicle without an Internet connection and the ability to create an account when your hours away from civilization is a big negative in my book.

Thing is absolutely killer for the price. Rather spend the money on this than a snap on I’ll be paying off for 10 years.

Love this scanner, does everything I need, convenient to use. Smooth interface. Solid device for a DIY or even a seasoned tech.

Really good product just kinda sucks the screen in unresponsive when left out in the cold say in the truck over night it has to be brought inside and warmed up for the touch screen to work and I have a 1998 dodge durango and it would not communicate with my abs module in order for me to manually bleed my breaks through each cylinder but other then that its a good product

Not failed me once yet. Helped me solve many car issues. Every car I've tried it on, it has worked. You do need to have a little knowledge to be able to use it well. Never had battery issues; it always charges, and because I don't use it a lot, it's always ready to go. It comes with a carry case that holds everything, including the cable and charger. Wireless OBD is a must if, for example, you're testing something to do with sensors like wheel sensors and things. You can view live data too. I have a convertible, and it even reads the roof computer and separate rear window ones. It will also make a file to print a health report for the car you're testing; I've used this, and it works well. I'm glad I got it, and I think it is worth the money. It's reliable, and the OBD has never failed to connect. It's not that hard to use, and generally, auto search will find the car.

This is very good product gives you more options than you probably need for an everyday user but the wireless dangle is the best thing ever. Gives you a reminder when you end session to remove dangle so you don't forget
