Type Cover for Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ / Pro 7/6 / 5/4 / 3, 12.3 inch, Ultra-Slim Wireless Bluetooth Tablet Keyboard with Multi Touchpad (Onyx)

The PC’s internal type cover connected failed (not the type cover itself but the PC’s inbuilt connector) on my venerable Surface Pro 3 making the Surface “on screen keyboard”only and harder to use though otherwise functioning perfectly. Easy to set up - works perfectly solving the defective type cover connector by simply bypassing it with a Bluetooth connection and making the computer easily usable again. There’s life in the old dog yet :) Highly recommended if you are in the same situation.

Works great with our Surface Pro, and this color adds flair. Definitely appreciate the quality of the device. It does require its own charging and the Bluetooth must be engaged (once on then the indicator light is activated). The backlight is also a nice feature!

I really enjoyed it for the 4 months that it worked, but it just went completely dead. Seems to charge but will no longer turn on. Still looks brand new. I wish it lasted longer because it was a nice keyboard. This keyboard doesn't charge off the tablet like the factory keyboard does. It has to be charged separately using the micro USB port. My original Microsoft keyboard lasted over 4 years.....

Very nice. Looks and works great with Surface. Requires charging and bluetooth unlike the OEM keyboard, but can work detached unlike the OEM. Battery charge is ok but since my wife generally uses it with a docking station, charging is not a big deal

Another thing you have to charge and connect to Bluetooth. Very short battery life in my opinion. To connect to the computer via Bluetooth is a long process not very straight forward. Takes a while to charge. Definitely dont recommend if youre needing quick setups.
