Garnier Olia Hi-Shine Hair Toner, Neutralises Brassy Tones, No Ammonia, Vegan Formula, Colour: 10.02 Pearly Blonde, 174ml

My hair was already bleached from naturally black to level 7 many months ago and I wanted to lighten it a touch more to the next level 8. The box says it's suitable for bleached hair and to rinse off after 10 minutes but I kept it for 20 minutes and rinsed off. Hair is definitely lighter but still brassy. The again, the only way to fix that is a long deep-condition with a blue-purple conditioner. Overall as I expected it to be but it didn't tone the brass.

Excellent experience. It worked better than most toners used before and its effects lasted longer. There was a visible improvement in texture and quality of bleached hair. Will reorder.

Does not work at all for brassiness after lightening. Turns the rest of your blonde blue and keeps the roots orange

I have balayage and I use this between colours. Love the colour, takes out the brassy tones and doesn’t damage my hair. Just make sure that you use a salon quality shampoo as it prolongs the colour within stripping it right away.

I’m always colouring my hair and then go back to blonde because I get bored of my hair colour. Does a really good job at getting rid of brassiness.

This works, I bleached my hair and it went a little orange. Put this on for 10 mins and really helped to get rid of the brassy colour. Still needs some work on it but helped to take the brightness away.

I brought the 9.1 shade. The photos suggest it would budge both orange and yellow brass, my hair is justtt into the more yellow than orange phase, and it didn't do much to it. So don't buy if you have more orange level brass. It isn't a strong toner, and in the first 10 minutes whilst on my hair it looked like my roots were ice white and the rest strawberry ginger. I left it for 20 minutes (my hair was very dry from it before the conditioning step, but silky soft after). My hair does appear to have a cooler (but still warm) pinky light blonde shade... Obviously far better than it was- so I am happy, for now- but it is absolutely not going to work on any bleached/ lightened hair any darker than my before photo- and will be useless for anyone with orange level brass. It barely worked on my yellow level brassy hair, after leaving it on for excess time. I would say best results on pale bannana colour/ level 10-9 hair. As you can see it just about works on 8-9 level lightened hair as a temp measure- but I doubt it will even last a couple of washes. - fast delivery; intact and well packaged.
