The best one!
Think Fun's Rush Hour is the best single player brain teaser table game that exists, period! I have this game in several formats and it's highly recommended for player of all ages. With several difficulty levels, it's fun, challenging and intelligent. Every time a have the chance, I introduce everyone I can to this game. I bought this version as a gift, and it wasn't expensive, so I'll keep buying and sharing this game for as long I can.

A Fun and Challenging Brain Teaser
Rush Hour is a fantastic puzzle game that's surprisingly addictive. The rules are simple to learn: you slide cars and trucks to get the red car out of the grid. But don't let the simplicity fool you—the challenges get progressively more difficult, really making you think ahead. It's a great way to pass the time and give your brain a workout. I highly recommend it for kids and adults who enjoy logic puzzles.

Fun, Challenging, and Addictive
This toy instantly reminded me of a digital puzzle game I used to play on my phone, but it’s even better because it’s hands-on and screen-free. My kids (ages 8 and 10) and I have spent hours playing it together, and it never really gets old. Some of the puzzles are definitely challenging, which makes it fun for both kids and adults. The best part is that you can reset the puzzle and try again as many times as you want, so there’s no frustration if you don’t solve it right away. It’s durable, holds up well to repeated use, and is compact enough to be travel-friendly. You can play solo or turn it into a group activity, which we love. This has been a big hit in our house and is great for keeping kids engaged while building problem-solving skills. Cons: Some puzzles may be challenging for younger kids without help

Fun, giftable, challenging (but not too challenging) logic puzzle great for recommended age range.
This game is a little addictive! It’s like a game on your phone but screen-free. There are 40 cards that tell you how to set up the logic puzzle in different ways using plastic cars on a “parking lot” grid. The cars move forward or backward only, and you goal is always the same: to get the red car out of the lot. The 40 cards are in order of increasing difficulty so it’s like a game with 40 levels to master. The solutions are on the back of each card but my family has never needed to use them. The cards fit in a handy little drawer in the parking lot game board. I just wish the plastic cars fit in a compartment somewhere too! The game does include a small drawstring bag to store pieces in, but this isn’t a great solution because the little cars can fall out of the bag’s opening pretty easily. Also, the board doesn’t fit in the bag with them so it’s not a great design—I wish it could all be contained in one thing. I have seen a travel case for the game for sale on Amazon, but 1) I don’t really want to spend the money and 2) I don’t think it’s a great idea to travel with this game because if you lose one car, the whole set is basically useless. When I travel with kids we bring Plus-Plus building pieces because they are all the same so it’s not a big deal if you lose a couple. So I would rate this game as 5 stars for being a fun, giftable, moderately challenging logic puzzle that is great for the recommended ages but Amazon asked me to rate on travel ability so I will say 4 stars overall

Fun gift for the family
This Rush Hour game was an excellent family Christmas gift. Every single person in our family, from the ages of 7 to 43, took an opportunity to try it out and see if they could solve it faster than the last person. The game is easy to understand and is fairly self-explanatory. The design is intuitive, and the cars are easily manipulated on the board. The game starts off less challenging, making a person think they can get through the levels quickly, but it soon becomes more challenging about halfway through the levels, making it fun for all ages and abilities. I do wish there was an easier way to hold the excess cars in the tray, as playing while sitting in a chair made it challenging when the levels changed, and I had to reach for the cars in the box on the ground, but otherwise it was an excellent education and entertaining game, and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

Love love love
This game is fantastic. My kids all love it. It so far challenges them, but still had achievable levels. I’d actually give 4.5 stars because I desperately wish it was self contained. It stores the cards nicely in the game board, and stores the card nicely in the box, but i wish it was just a nice tucked in game board. So we keep up with the box. It’s fine. I just really wish this game was more “throw in the purse play on the go” because we just really love it.

Rush Hour has to be one of our best toy discoveries of the year - it's a portable puzzle game that has everyone who has played with it in this house from age 6-70 enthralled. The game consists of a plastic box with a 6x6 grid on it, 42 game cards and, as the name of the game would suggest a number of vehicles (4 trucks and 12 cars) that fit onto the grid and are the pieces you play with. Everything is compact - the grid is about 13.5cm by 16cm, and fits into a small drawstring bag, making the game very transportable and quick to set up. Game play is simple but engaging - in theory it's for one person to play at a time but we quite often find that one person will play and several more will get involved leading to co-operative puzzle solving and much discussion and scratching of heads. The basic idea is to use one of the cards to set up a traffic jam of trucks and cars, these being variously 2 or 3 squares long of the grid, and then to free the red car and let it "drive" out of the gap in the grid, a bit like the illustration on the packaging as seen above. The cards show in pictorial form how to lay out the cars and lorries horizontally and vertically. To make it easy the pieces are all totally different colours and made of a hollow, light, but robust plastic. Once you have the game is set up you move the vehicles forward and backwards, but in no other direction, as much as you want until you find the sequence to free the red car. It's a bit like tetris in reverse and instantly addictive. I like the fact that there is a little drawer in the grid to store the game cards and the game itself is expandable as you can buy more cards and special vehicles. We have just stuck the basic game so far, the cards come in three different challenge levels and have kept members of this house amused for hours. A card can take seconds or up to an hour to solve, it depends on the complexity of the card and the skill of the player. The solution is printed on the back if the jam becomes too much, when playing you really do have to think about how to work out the puzzle it's great fun but also can get quite frustrating as you wonder how a few pieces of plastic can have you so stumped! The set is pretty well made and well worth the purchase price in my opinion, it's definitely a great item to fill an ideal five minutes or the tricky time for children in a restaurant when colouring no longer appeals. I like the fact that it is so tactile - the game is available on i-Pad also but somehow in 2-D, though it is to all intents and purposes identical, is much less involving than having to physically push real pieces around a board. I'm not a huge board game fan in general but this game is great, and it's a real must-have for holidays. There is a junior version available Rush Hour Junior but this one is suitable for anyone aged 4 or above who will be able to access it in different ways, with the very youngest setting out and pushing around the cars and older players enjoying the very real challenge that such a fun looking game can provide. Highly recommended.
